Philip Hue Lighting App To Bridge

Fantastic ambient lighting provided by this strip connected to a HUE Sync Box.

I have multiple Hue lighting schemes in my home. This, my second, Bloom gives me more options in color ambiance.

This is my 3rd or 4th light from the Hue series and, like the others, it's great. Setup (once you have the app) is a breeze, strong build quality and very bright.

Starting out was easy as anything. That this can control 50 lights/groups through the Hue app is incredible! Interface with Alexa is a major plus, controlling lights from all around the house where I place my Echo Dots. Unfortunately, I wasted hundreds of $ on another product that was too limited and had no external control as with Hue. Live and learn...

I had occasion to set up a bridge for lighting a small concert recently and used this clamp to mount a mic on a short boom to the bridge along with the lights. It's really versatile, and of course it separates into two pieces so it gives you an additional super clamp when needed.

Use with the Home.app to automate my lighting

I bough it for the lighting feature and the ability to use an app to control it.

Simply put, they're E12 size bulbs that work with Hue. They function just like the other hue bulbs but in this weird form factor. They're quite expensive, always the con with using Hue bulbs. Otherwise, they work great. Hopefully you didn't do what I did and buy a light fixture that needs 6 of these -- oof.

If you do need lighting to use with your computer which is professional quality and affordable, this is the one... The App works well to set it up at once...
