Philips Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor Light

I've been using Philips Hue for almost 10 years and I'm happy with this smart light system.

This Accessory is a must if you have Philips Hue Lights. Once set up it works just like a regular light switch with the ability to store up to 4 light settings. No need to open up an App on your phone or computer to turn on lights. I suggest one for each room you have Philips light installed.

I have a number of lights in the Philips Hue family, and the blooms are no joke! Very light weight, but very well made. It fills up so much of the room with its light without being overpowering. Definitely well worth it!!

I already use Philips Hue lightbulbs (they’re amazing) and decided to try this lamp when we were in the market for a new bedroom floor lamp. What a hit! Its floor footprint is tiny (perfect for our tiny Manhattan apartment) yet the lamp is bright enough to replace a “proper” floor lamp — it delivers way more than just “accent” light. We’re obsessed and already want to buy more.

Great sound, still mastering some of Siri’s tricks to control my Philips Hue lights. Audio is great for speakerphone, and it creates interactivity at gatherings, like a disembodied extra presence.

Sometimes there's just too much light. If you are interested in using a slow shutter to capture motion, you need to reduce the light getting to the sensor. A neutral density filter will give you that extra reduction of a stop or so to get the shot you envision. It's sunglasses for your lens.

I purchased 2 of these for outdoor solar lights which have 28 LEDs in each light. They become very bright when they detect motion and dim down when there is no motion. But they are on all the time when it gets dark. Easily lasts from dusk to dawn in the long winter nights. I initially charged them in a regular charger and peak voltage was 4.3v. After the light was on for 14hrs the voltage had dropped to 4.1v. Still plenty of capacity left in them.

For outdoor landscape,especially moving water. Shows the motion in moving water.
