Philips Hue White Ambiance Ceiling Light Review

Like the other Hue White & Color Ambiance lights, this small lamp is completely customizable for brightness and color, allowing you to create the perfect accent for whatever the mood or occasion. It is completely controllable from the Hue app on your smart phone or other mobile device, and can be included as an element of a larger scene. It can be programmed to create different moods throughout the day. While billed as a table lamp, it works great as a floor or corner lamp to provide an accent wherever needed. It plugs into a standard wall outlet, and is not intended for outdoors.

This Accessory is a must if you have Philips Hue Lights. Once set up it works just like a regular light switch with the ability to store up to 4 light settings. No need to open up an App on your phone or computer to turn on lights. I suggest one for each room you have Philips light installed.

I have a number of lights in the Philips Hue family, and the blooms are no joke! Very light weight, but very well made. It fills up so much of the room with its light without being overpowering. Definitely well worth it!!

I already use Philips Hue lightbulbs (they’re amazing) and decided to try this lamp when we were in the market for a new bedroom floor lamp. What a hit! Its floor footprint is tiny (perfect for our tiny Manhattan apartment) yet the lamp is bright enough to replace a “proper” floor lamp — it delivers way more than just “accent” light. We’re obsessed and already want to buy more.

Great sound, still mastering some of Siri’s tricks to control my Philips Hue lights. Audio is great for speakerphone, and it creates interactivity at gatherings, like a disembodied extra presence.

The assembly was super easy and self-explanatory. It also comes with a free trial to streamlabs ultra to get access to premium creater apps. It has several different colors and speeds to choose from.

All my softbox light was bouncing and spilling everywhere in my white wall/ceiling/floor studio. Could not get any deep shadows. Enter this Rotalux Rotagrid. Perfect! My softbox light goes exactly where I point the box and nowhere else. In my white studio I now can capture all the shadows I want with the subject still lit! A winner!
