Philips Universal Remote With Samsung Tv Models List

Is this universal for more models(e.g. HERO8, etc.) or only specific to HERO9?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lost a remote to my tv so tried the universal remote and it worked great on my tv. I don't have anything Elsa at this time to connect to the remote but if I did I would. It was easy to use and follow directions too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best universal remote I have used so far. I like the simpleset features. I don’t have to flip through the booklet searching for my devices’ code. Being able to hook up to 8 devices is great. I was able to connect to my roku steaming box, Apple TV box and TV. There were some features it can’t replicate on the original remote, but for the basic functions, this would do.

All three of my TV’s are 2010-2016 Samsung models with the early app’s that they stopped updating. I got a Roku a Chromecast and a Firestick so I could honestly compare. I’m not a fan of brand bashing I will just say I have three Roku units now and they are awesome! I was concerned that the streaming stick would t do as well as the models with the set top receiver, you can not tell a difference. Great product without the disconnects or refresh wheel!

We have added some of our own apps and favorites. Tying the tv to Alexa was an added bonus. No problem navigating the television if you do not want to use the remote, just use Alexa! The best part of purchasing this television is to use it as wall art when not watching a show. People have been over and did not even know that there was a TV on the wall in the room with them. The Samsung Frame TV was the right purchase for us!

This is my first smart tv, won’t hesitate on buying another smart tv. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

When my the software of my last Samsung Smart Tv could no longer support Netflix, I decided it was time for another. I had a little trouble figuring out how to get the cable TV part of the TV to play when I turn the unit on but now that I have figured it out, I am very happy. There are numerous apps to link to various services which is great. The picture quality can be adjusted to taste as can the sound. The remote is small and efficient but I am also able to use my cable remote to turn the unit on and adjust volume and channels. Overall, I am very pleased.

I previously had one of the first Roku models and with my room so far from the router it wasn't streaming properly anymore. The Streaming Stick + was a HUGE difference! I now have fast, high quality streaming. Even the picture quality on my TV looks better. The remote has voice search which is soooo much faster and easier than manually typing out what I'm looking for. The remote also controls the volume and on/off function on my TV so I can do everything with one remote. I was blown away with how much I love my new Roku Streaming Stick +

I purchased a Roku Express a few months ago and the remote used on a Samsung TV is terrible. I think there is problem with the volume buttons. I went through all trouble shooting - no luck Roku's answer is "buy a new remote" which means pay to replace your non-working item (it was like this when I got it).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy setup. Good size for me to put together myself. Any bigger I would have needed help to do so. I'm an all in on Samsung products. I will never buy anything else ever again. I love how devices can be linked/synced together in a way. That is so helpful. Picture is awesome, sound is spectacular the added channels are a bonus. This company really care about giving customers the best experience. Software updates are great. The only thing that I was a little taken back was this remote control and there was no rewind a few minutes for the TV for a few minutes I had gotten use to on previous Tv's. As for the remote my other Samsung TV remote works to my liking and I can get another remote or an universal one. If you are reading this and never tried Samsung I, suggest you have to try some of their products! I have been giving people this advice for years now and will continue to as well.
