I use it to connect my cell phone to my car.

This is the work horse of the industry! It's tiny and can be placed anywhere with a host of accessories. It takes a beating and keeps on delivering great results. There are other mics that sound great but none that stand up in terms of ruggedness and longevity, but that's just my opinion.
