Through the years going through so many tripods. Going with better and better brands to finally ending up with the ones that everyone recommends, (Gitzo, Manfroto) and still needed more performance, security and stability. Should have forgone all others and just bought really right stuff in the beginning. I would have save time and money. Its is stable as they come (except for their TVC-45) and will not disappoint on mountains or in streams. Easy and simple to clean. Your camera equipment is not at the mercy of a tripod base held on with one screw clamping on cast metal. RRS uses milled T6061 anodized aluminium and everything they make is a work of art. Glad to have a product that has been so good to me for i think 7 years now. 5 |
