Love the camera Use with Vintage Lenses

I use the S5 for pro-sumer photo and video and use a lot of vintage lenses along with the Panasonic and Sigma Leica L mount lenses. The sensor is better than an equivalent Sony in terms of image quality and low light, but the ergonomics are better. Adapters for any format to Leica L are available and the available Leica L native lenses support everything needed. I researched extensively before this purchase and I am not disappointed- the S5 is a top performer for photo and video at this price range.

I ordered this bag after having a second locking lever break on my vintage Manfrotto 055 photo tripod with Manfrotto 056 3-D Junior Pan/Tilt Head. The product description says 33.5 but the package label lists it as 35 which gives me extra space if I add a different head. This is an economical solution, so padding might not be as robust in a tripod bag costing 7 times the price. But I feel it will protect the locking levers from snags while in the car trunk on the way to photo shoots. I ordered a spare locking lever just in case :-)

I had purchased a vintage Mercury microphone and needed a stand for it (it's a photo prop for me). The mike screwed on perfectly, and it's perfect for what I needed it for.

Would you wear a tuxedo in the jungle? Or a swimsuit for an office job interview? if the answer is no, why do you use the same strap whenever you go to take some pictures? I like to use a thin, unconspicuous vintage strap when I carry light equipment and a heavy duty state-of-the-art strap when I attach some big lens and a grip with extra batteries for the more adventurous photo journeys. The good part about the anchor links is that I change my vintage fabric strap for a Peak Design Slide in a minute. The same camera used for taking wildlife pictures during the day with a big zoom lens becomes an unobtrusive kit for street photo in the evening when attached to a fifty-nifty and my old school strap. I am very happy with this addition, that saves me time and allows me to use Peak Design anchors in all of my cameras. The quality, as expected, is amazing. Reliable, strong anchors that I can trust to keep my equipment safe.
