Photo Editor Software Mac

Bought this for Krita photo editor software, and using it for that and so much more. Easy to use, automatically selects the profile of the app that is open. Going to be using it for more things in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for storage for my photo library and this Samsung T9 really did the trick!! I have 3 children and a puppy, so you can imagine we take tons and tons of photos and videos! This Drive is SO fast! I was able to transfer a 5GB file from my MAC to this in about 20 seconds. The design of the device is also quite nice. It's small and wrapped in a rubber skin that feels quite rugged. I can see this as a device that I can easily and confidently carry with me when I travel as well. The software was a bit wonky at first(could be. that I have a MAC). It took me a few reboots to get the drive to be recognized by the software. Although this doesn't affect using the device, it was just something that was odd compared to my normal Samsung experience. Overall, great device, a solid build and SUPER FAST!! I look forward to larger storage versions available in the future to continue to move my photo library.

Plugged it in and the Mac software performed a backup of all my files immediately. Used primarily for photo backup, but all files other than system were copied. I did not use the security setup that is described with the drive.

The PT750w is a great product. Just wish they still included the PTouch Editor Lite software they used to have.

Great controller and I love the software editor that is free. Every setting is customizable and I love it.

This is a great label maker. I am using a USB cable to Windows PC and the P-Touch Editor software.

I highly recommend you download the P-Touch Editor Software to get the most efficient easy use of your machine! I did download the software on my IMac and found the software very unfriendly.......I was frustrated and I decided to try the printer on my PC which is running Windows 10 and found the P-Touch software amazing! A very different experience than occurred when using on my iMac! I was so surprised at the ease of use, the huge number of repopulated labels covering everything from Holiday labels including Christmas, Halloween, home labels covering electrical symbols, kitchen items, address labels, gift tags to name a only a few! I tried a few of the pre setup labels and by simply checking a box you can have the label fill whatever size label you are currently using -- that is done automatically! I am a home user and can see that this is going to be a very practical and handy device to get organized.

Im a film editor and Assistant editor and find myself often temping in color for preliminary cuts of things. Having a broadcast accurate color monitor with full image controls is really helpful. I have found that monitors designed for computers or for gaming don't have the specific color controls that have been standardized for my kind of work. And that they insist on burying their interface controls in software menus rather than being physical buttons and knobs on the device. Maybe this is just a pet peeve for me but the tactile controls just feel more intuitive to me and I always feel like I'm wasting mental energy trying to figure out navigating software menus that have controls in a series of nested tabs. At the same time most broadcast monitors are prohibitively expensive. This monitor is a great middle ground. It works well, the image is great and the controls are geared directly to my needs.

As a cynical/snarky video editor I was looking for a drive that would perform well for a (7) mulitcamera HD edit. This drive was all that and more. What really threw me was the fact that it's the size of a Snickers candy bar! Dang it's small! It blows my mind that something this diminutive could perform so well. It was up to the task. The source footage (several 78 gig files) was copied off a PC. I then connected it with the provided Thunderbolt III cable to my new Mac Mini (3.2gHz 6-Core/i7/32gigs RAM/1 TB SSD). The drive was instantly recognized (no PC/Mac format issues) and off I went to work. The Helix Dura enclosure got warm but never hot where I was concerned. To be cliear I intentionally got the Dura version because the chipset is more robust and didnt want to risk any speed issues. I'm glad I did. Great drive. Bite!
