Photo Resizing Maintain Dpi

I wish it was available in 1200 dpi.

This a great scanner for those of us who want to get rid of photo albums and keep everything in a digital format. I use the 600 dpi, which is a tad slower than the 300 dpi, but I think my old photos look better. The install was fast and easy to implement. I have recommended this scanner to several friends--I should get a commission!

Since several years I use Canon Photo Paper Plus and I am very happy with it. Maintain the color and the quality is super.

Camera is as great as others' comments. Have not encountered any serious technical or creative issues. In-camera resizing is a minor concern: S1 (2736x1824); S2 (2400x1600); M (3648x2432). These image sizes are not email attachment friendly. Was expecting something like Powershot S90s resizing options: M3 (1600x1200); S (640x480); XS (320x240). Thankfully, photo editing software is available for resizing, for example, Photoshop's Image Sizing for custom resizing, & Photomatix Essentials 4.1 (64-bit) resizing presets (4). Getting Started booklet, and to some extent, downloadable electronic manual, does not cross-reference Part Names in Index. Stumbled across camera part 13 (Step/Continuous selection lever) explanation in booklet, page 45. Have yet to find any reference to it in electronic manual. Not a big deal.

This is a good sturdy light stand, but good for general purpose stand. Resizing is quick and smooth. After I attached the umbrella and flash unit, the stand did not wobble. It remained pretty stationary as I attempted to shake the stand with the equipment on it. I did not have to add counterweights.

Light weight, easy dpi controls, stays connected. Recommend it.

Just needed it to work and maintain a low profile: it does.

So far, every cartridge performs the same so my pictures maintain quality.
