It is a wonderful tripod for a my Tamron 150-600 lense. I used it to photograph the solar eclipse almost straight overhead. The tripod center post adjusted perfectly to allow me to catch the shoots. 5 |

I used the 3.0ND 110 filter to photograph the November 2012 solar eclipse. As an amature photographer who had never done this before I was absolutely stoked with my results. The Solar Eclipse Filter works well and has allowed me to photograph what before was unphotographable. It took some time playing around with the exposure and focus to figure out how to get a sharply focused and properly exposed image of the sun, but once I did it was very satisfying (see attached). Unfortunately there was nothing particularly interesting happening on our closest start the day I got the filter, but as soon is there are sunspots or an eclipse I'm ready to capture the image. 5 |
