Photography Canon Camera Settings
Ke'Von | 2024-05-23 06:29:16 |
As someone who is just getting into photography, Canon makes it so easy to do so. The controls and descriptions of settings makes it so extremely easy to just pick up and use. I coupled this camera with a 35mm 1.4 for my first shoot and it went off without a hitch. This camera is great and extremely versatile for video and photo. In a world where DSLRs are fading away, this is still a great crop factor option and probably the most slept on DSLR on the market currently. 5 |

This lens serves me well for BIF photography and sporting events. With the settings I use, (TV, Canon shooter), it is more than adequate for focusing birds in flight and team sports. It is heavy, even for me and I am a 6'3" 255 lbs. bodybuilder. A lens of this caliber deserves a solid tripod and gimbal head or a sturdy monopod. I have hand held it an snapped some keepers also, but it requires a sling strap (Black Rapid or Joby). Images are sharp at 550mm when I am between f/8-11. I love this lens, it is well worth purchasing...Sigma Rocks!! 5 |

Returning to my hobby in photography after over 5 years of non-shooting, the X-S20 has brought back my love for photography and the Fuji colors. The camera is light and small enough for me to bring it to me when I go out for some street photography walks. The body is ergonomic and most of the buttons are intuitive. What I would say is that I do miss dedicated dials that I had on my X-Pro 1, and yes, you can change the functions for most of the buttons and dial. As someone who does mostly photography and some videography, I really just need to alternative between A-priority, Manual, and Video. That being said, I prefer if the Mode dial was just in the menu/LCD options and instead, that dial was for shutter speed or ISO. As someone already mentioned in another review, aside from Vlog mode, the settings are not intuitive and easy to understand, which IMO definitely does not make this camera beginner-friendly. After not holding a camera for that long, I must admit that I'm still exploring the capabilities of this camera via all the different options the settings provide but as of now, I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the camera and love the images that have been produced thus far. 5 |

The only photography I have done prior to using this camera was through my iPhone. The Fuji x100v is simple to use but also has settings that give you the freedom of creativity if you dare to venture. I'm learning so much while geeking out and producing some beautiful photos. My professional photographer friends recommended this and I've gotta say I'm glad I went for it because it's worth every penny. 5 |

Perfect “everyday” film. I’ve used this for street photography, testing camera settings, trying out new cameras and general use. Develops with D76 and gives clear negatives albeit a little thin and will curl if not carefully dried. 5 |

Right out of the box this camera is ready to go for most amateur photography needs. After reading the manual, I discovered a wealth of functionality that will be a lot of fun to play with. Most of my photos so far have been out in the Rocky Mountains, and just using the auto settings I have been very impressed. The focus quality and clarity are beyond expectations. For the price point, this is a great camera. My only complaint is the panorama feature is not as good as my iPhone Xr, but I have only taken a few of those shots. The attached shot was a quick zoom and shoot using only auto settings in sunlight. No adjustments needed other than cropping. 5 |

Perfect for us. Amateur photography & wanted it small & light. Wanted something fast to grab shots of our 6mon. old, some family photos, some traveling around shots. Right now I use Auto settings most of the time while I am figuring out how to shoot w/other manual settings. 18-55 is great lense, has stabilization for video. We paired with a 23mm/f2 because we shoot a lot at close range(baby shots in a small apt.), and want a wide for landscapes. Download to smartphone needs help, it isn't very good. Phone as remote is no problem. Buttons are little oddly placed at first - but I am slow at this stuff anyways. If you have the funds I highly suggest the setup. We bought for some great photos and if we decide to get into photography this a great camera to explore with. If we don't continue with FUJI in the future we can sell the lenses in 5-8 years and they will still be worth a lot. Go for the XF lenses because if you ever want to trade/exchange they hold their value better than XC. I talked w/my prof. photographer friends and I almost tripled my budget - but feel more comfortable about it because of the camera and longer term value. We are a month in and I love the camera. Now researching bags to go with it. ThinkTank 5 Retrospective looks like a winner.. .. B&H was flawless delivery - Payboo was easy to setup. 5 |

I bought this for night photography, adjusting camera settings and setting up tripods in the dark. It does help when you don't want to keep waiting for your eyes to adjust after using a regular flashlight. 5 |
