Physical Time Clock

It has the best clock that is not overclocked. 5 |

It's pretty, it's small, it's a clock radio. I can see it from across the room, the alarm goes off at the time it's set for, and it displays the time on the ceiling. That brings us to the first caution: the projector automatically shuts off after 16 hours. Your guess is as good as mine why? Second caution is the batter backup is a CR2032 rather than an easily available 9 volt or AA. Last caution is the speaker is 4 cm or 1 5/8 inches in diameter, so don't expect to use this as your main music source. If these cautions don't bother you...they don't bother me...then it's a great little clock radio. 5 |

I just wish it had a physical off button 5 |

This alarm clock had all the features I was looking for - projected time, USB charger port, and fading volume wake from either different sounds or radio. I was a bit concerned that snooze wasn't programmable, but it actually is - you just hit the button for how many 10 minute increments of snooze that you want (and the display tells you so you can see what you're doing when you are groggy). If you don't want the projector, it's easy to turn off. And the display can go very dim or even turn off too. I'm very happy with this alarm clock! 5 |

I exclusively use this clock for the red, time projection feature and I turn off the led clock time display on the unit itself. I point the projection at the ceiling and can read the time above my bed at night without even having to use my glasses. It is a great feature and very handy that this clock has two alarms built in. 5 |

I purchased this Sony clock radio for my mother as her old one broke and she loves it! The time changes by itself during day light savings time, it’s also easy to turn the radio on and off and the radio is crystal clear with internal antennas. Amazing price for a really good dependable clock radio! 5 |

Bought this alarm clock radio to replace an old one. It keeps perfect time and has a lot of nice features. Wifi and music streaming is about the only thing missing. Radio is clean sounding and controls are easy to use. Dual alarms are flexible and convenient. The unit also has a projection feature to display the time on a wall or ceiling in the room. 5 |

I was shocked, SHOCKED I say, at how much I liked this little full spectrum cutey from the get-go. The first time I used it was for an alarm clock gag light on an actors face where the programmed interval and size allowed me to just put it on the nightstand for a quick, perfect solution. Since then, I've tucked it in odd places for fill, placed it for dashboard up light and used it for moving eye lights that didn't affect the rest of the lighting. Seriously, you need one (or 2) of these in your kit. 5 |

This is our 4th Sangean radio. It doesn't take up much space. I prefer to sleep in a very dark environment and the digital display can be dimmed to a comfortable level. The digits are large enough to be read without glasses and can have the day of the week in the display. No more panic moments thinking it is the wrong day of the week! There is no guessing whether the alarm is on or off because it displays an icon when enabled. One of the critical bits in our area is the battery backup this radio has. Buttons are lighted and in a good location with a satisfying click when pressed. It is true as others have mentioned that turning off loudness sounds a lot better. Setting the clock and alarm times does require some speed to finish. Our old clock radio had an enter button which alleviated the short timeout for some functions. Once you get the hang of it it is easy to do. Two of our other Sangean radios don't have a battery backup and we have had years of practice. We manually set clocks anyway because of possible electrical interference in our area. The atomic clocks will sometimes time travel. I tried the automatic setting on this clock but while moving around to different stations the clock made the time useless. If you still need to get up on time it is something to keep in mind. I am not on call anymore so I don't keep the cell on at night. Won't be using the higher tech functions but they are there for those that do need/want them. Funny thing about an alarm clock. Probably the most ignored tech that we own - except when we need to wake up to music - on time. 5 |

This is the best alarm clock I've owned. Great for simplicity, yet has all the features I need. Weekday, weekend alarm function memory, fade in sound wake up, it sets the time, date and day itself when you plug it in, and auto corrects for daylight savings time. It has a USB port I charge my phone with at night, which is very convenient to have on the nightstand. I us the nature sounds when reading or working from home. It has a rather small footprint but isn't hard to operate. 5 |
