Pictures Of Gps

The camera takes great pictures and is very easy to use. The only disappointment is that it does not have a GPS that previous models did have.

I bought mine a year ago to use on my T5i. I like taking pictures of barns, I like to know where the barn is in case I want to take more pictures in the future or in better lighting. The only annoying thing about it is it is sitting up there on the hotshoe and my base ball cap hits it on my first attempt to take a shot. After I flip my hat around, I'm good until I get back into my car and whack my hat on the head rest. ;) I recently purchased a 6D with internal gps. It doesn't have the compass feature so it doesn't record which way I was looking. Also, I don't think it is as sensitive as the EP-G2 that is out in the open. If I forget to turn off the GPS function in my 6D I have a dead camera. In the T5i, I just don't have a GPS. I noticed the description says the T5i uses usb, I'm using hot shoe.

I was a little hesitant in buy this unit after reading some of the reviews, but for travel I like having GPS data in the pictures. I bought one unit and tried it on my wife's Canon R6 and my R5. It worked perfectly on both cameras, did not have to do anything other than set it up in the cameras menu. I took several pictures with both cameras at different locations, and the accuracy was superb. I then ordered another unit so we would both have one for our cameras.

Very useful device if you take a lot of pictures in multiple locations. Easy to use, sometimes needs a minute to locate the GPS satellites after turning it on, but after that it provides the positioning info on your pictures. Software is another matter. Canon supposedly provides a mapping software but I have not found it yet and I am not sure they have it for Mac OS. Nevertheless I am very happy to have this device which will save me many hours trying to figure out locations that I have to do on the pictures I took before I bought this.

This is one of the best GPS I have ever owned up to today.

Very happy battery last longer high brightness and constant GPS usage i work for UBER where gps is important for maps. Had a previous problem with my G7 power where gps was all over the place. I hear alot of complaints of people cannot active with sprint i had to wait a while to use my phone needed a specific sim card (516TQ) is the one I’m using

No problems at all with this GPS. It just works like it should.
