This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc. 5 |

This is way better then the hand held models. I like it very much. 5 |

The Leica 100-400mm lens was purchased to go with my new Lumix G9II. My older long range combo, a Canon 60D (later 80D) and Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens was getting too heavy for these elderly muscles to hold steady, and the reach of the new equipment is almost as far and weighs 2 1/2 pounds less! You can see in the pictures the quality of the glass. Another plus is the improved auto focusing and great image stabilization combined with the G9II. In situations where the Canon/Sigma needed at least a monopod, the Lumix/Leica can be hand-held. All of the included pictures where shot hand-held and are heavily cropped, straight-from-camera jpgs. The zoom mechanism is stiffer than my other zooms. Although you can still shake it down, it won’t creep outward on its own while being carried vertically. I really like that. The zoom ring itself only needs a quarter turn for full travel, but I prefer pushing it in and out. The focus ring is perfectly smooth and the simplicity of attaching and removing the tripod foot can’t be better. The only thing I didn’t like is the focal length switch. It sticks up and is too easily tripped accidentally. The lens hood is a little weird, too. Otherwise I love this lens. It’s giving me some great close-ups from such a lightweight rig. 5 |

Fantastic lens. Very nice, stable focusing. Hand held in a canoe for bird pictures, no problem. I have been just blown away by the fine shots hand held. Super sharp, clear pictures. My first L lens, not going back. Problems Encountered: It is heavy...get over it. It is so worth it. A little slow to focus while bobbing around at times. Items I Recommend: sun screen, camouflage material for the lens 5 |

I took this lens on a Zoo Safari shooting all hand held at f/4. I discovered that the depth of field was so shallow that it was difficult to hit critical focus. I also thought the bokeh was too busy in many photos - I prefer a more smooth creamy bokeh. With some practice and good composition I have been blown away with the pictures this lens can capture. I posted over 100 pictures from this zoo safari on flickr if you want to examine more pictures:https://www.flickr.com/photos/millsjpg/albums/72157694727998301 5 |

I have used a tripod for over 50 years to increase sharpness and composition. Hand held pictures seldom have exactly what I wanted. My phone does take excellent pictures, but there was still that lack of sharpness due to my shaky hands and composition as impossible when trying to click the screen. This smartphone holder solved both issues. And at $12.00, it is almost a free way to have two different high resolution cameras with great composition possibilities. 5 |

Honestly, before I bought it I thought the pictures made it look a bit flimsy, but no - its a solidly constructed product. The rails and camera attachment points appears to be solid stainless steel and the plastic parts are substantial. I have been using it with my Lumix GH5 and a heavy prime mounted upon a tripod and hand-held. Both options work. With the rails, you can balance the camera within the ring light easily, making hand-held clips a breeze. The light is even and I haven't noticed any power or color shifts while using it thus far. Yep, this fit my need for fill light while keeping the price reasonable. 5 |

I am very happy with the ringlight. It allows me to get shots I could not have gotten before and allows hand-held shots where a tripod would have been needed. Since most of my pictures are live animals in their natural habitat, they generally won't hang around while I set up a tripod and lighting. My only complaint so far is that the light is rather harsh, often leaving a bright image of the two flashes in the subjects eyes or refected on shiny parts of its anatomy. Seems like there should be some sort of diffuser option built in. Or maybe there is and I just haven't discovered it yet. 5 |

I love this small but great help, hand held free and no more shaking on long zoom pictures.. definitely recommends to any one. 5 |

I attached this to my 80-400 Nikon lens and took hand held pictures focusing manually....I am quite surprised at how sharp they came out!! I also plan to use it on my 110 macro to extend that range too. Excellent lens that I recommend as a must 5 |
