Pioneer Computer Speakers With Subwoofer

I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again.

I love these speakers and subwoofer combo! I use them every day and not just with my computer but also with my iPod ad other MP3 players. The first day I got this I was listening to a song with my wife and I looked at her and said "I didn't even know there was a base line in that part of the song!" great product worth every penny!

Use it with my home computer. Placed the subwoofer under the table and the left/right speakers on either side of the computer. Overall effect of the sound is great with no imbalance. Own it for a month now.

This subwoofer’s performance exceeds all expectations. I connected it to my restored vintage (1976) Pioneer SC-1250 receiver using a Rolls SX45 Crossover box and the combination yields a tremendous improvement in sound. This subwoofer is an ideal addition to my vintage ESS AMT Monitor Speakers (1978) which simply never was capable of handling the lowest bass frequencies effectively. The difference it makes is amazing; you won’t believe the sounds included in the artists’ creations that you’ve been missing.

I am using this cable to connect my computer with speakers.

My set-up consists of a Pioneer Elite VSX-23, zone 2 powering (2) DT 6500's to my front patio (30' x 30'). My speaker placement is under the eves against the wall (bass radiator reflecting to the wall) and the speakers centered and projecting to my listening area. After some break-in, the speakers really shine at moderate volume's producing balanced, clean sound that's fills my listening space. The Hi's are crisp, Mid's are detailed and the Bass is strong. I spent a lot of time reading reviews for bookshelf speakers for my OnkyoTX-NR676 Stereo w/Pro-ject Debut Carbon Turntable, Kenwood CD changer and Pioneer Tape Deck (which is in my small office 14'x11') , and in contention in my under $250 price range were not only these ELAC Debut 2.0 speakers, but also Klipsch R-41M and Pioneer SP-BS22-LR. So far(3 weeks), these ELAC speakers came out of the box working/sounding really well at both low and high volumes, and I am glad I picked them. mvm 13.May.2020
