Pioneer In Show Recording

I've been using Pioneer Photo Albums for many, many years - recording the history of my early life, travels, love and finally marriage (to Bob), raising our 2 daughters and now delighting in our 5 young grandchildren. I have over 150 albums capturing my incredible life story - and, with one daughter living in Australia and the other just miles down the road, (plus Bob and my travels throughout the world), I thank Pioneer Albums for providing me with the perfect format to chronical my adventures (and thousands upon thousands of photos!!)

Worked well for recording a show in a small theatre. Would buy it again.

I ordered this case after many years of neglectful storage of our radio show recording archives. It's exactly what we needed at a fair price.

I bought 3 spindles (150 total) for a kids show I had to record. Consistent recording quality was my main requirement. These haven’t disappointed. No skipping, jumping, incompatibility issues at all. Reading other reviews here before I placed the order, I can state other users experience are very similar to mine. A good quality product for about a dollar each. Not bad. (For info, I was recording a 75 min show, MP4, 24Mbps, 1920x1080p 30fps and it burned perfectly every time. It used 5.7Gb out of the 8.5Gb approx capacity)

The image stabilization is phenomenal. The video quality looks so professional, it feels like I am recording my own TV show. The color is also really natural. I highly recommend!

We bought this mic for our pastor for recording a new radio show. The difference between this and our regular microphones was dramatic. Our pastor beamed after using it, he was very impressed with the quality. Having the different settings for mic patterns is helpful while recording interviews. Two people can comfortably use one microphone without feeling awkward in sharing the same space. We will be using this mic for other purposes as well. It would be nice to purchase the XLR version as well.

I was very surprised to see how comfortable these earpads were. My first concern was that they were going to be too hot so I left one OEM earpad on and one of the Deluxe Velour. Much to my surprise they velour pad was cool and dry while the OEM side was hot and sweaty. I've picked up another set for my other recording headset. I record a radio show with these and typically wear them for 2.5 hours while I write show notes and listen to music, all the way to recording the show and post-production where I listen to music again. I noticed that the ear holes are slightly smaller than OEM pads, but fit my ears well. Large-eared individuals may want to be cautious. These are worth it.

I have been using the Pioneer XG-426 Flexible Cover Photo Album (Botanical Leaves) for many years. It is a quick way to be able to present 4 x 6 prints to inform and show the type of images and subject matter I am recording. I use this product to display 4 x 6 images up to a maximum of 24 images using both sides of each sleeve. Many times I use single side of sleave displaying 12 images. On other occasions I will slide an image in the front. Sometimes I use that opening for a text title and description of the contents. This is a very versatile inexpensive album. Example: when photographing at or near the airport and Airport Police come to visit because they have had a suspicious person call. I can reach into my messenger bag, Jacket pocket, or into my vehicle and show the officers, they normally send 2, past images I have recorded. The first time they see my work some of the officers have even suggested good locations to record from for future images. And on the rare occasion when they have an Active High Security condition they are friendly and polite when advising me the area is currently close. They also knowledge under normal conditions this is an acceptable area for me to be recording images from. This little inexpensive album has opened many doors and reduce tensions in many situation. Being the expense of shipping I normally purchased this album in conjunction with my other purchases from B&H that include or meet the minimums for free shipping adding the cost of five albums to already purchase products is less then the shipping cost if purchased alone. I was tired of packing my mixer up in the shipping box every time I needed to do a show or recording session, so I sprung for this Mackie mixer bag. It is made of super durable material with large zippers, carry handles and shoulder strap. Two accessory pouches have room for the power cord and 2 mics and cables. Padding and stiff plastic dividers protect the mixer, but you'll still want to be careful with it. Doubles as a decent guitarists gear/gig bag or for storing your mixer if you are gone traveling or on the road. Well worth the $$.
