There is not much to say about this controller other than Pioneer DJ nailed it! As a vinyl DJ on turntables for over 35 years, this is the closest I've come across to using traditional vinyl on a portable controller. Coupled with the great mixer section, there is not much (if anything) that I would change. Definitely worth the buy. Also... the $100 upgrade with the flight case is a no-brainer. The case is built like a tank. Honestly, it may even be too large and robust. Unless you're going to use it for frequent gigging. 5 |

The Pioneer DJ HDJ-X5 are simply excellent headphones, superior to many far more expensive. First they pickup the full spectrum of sounds with clarity and strength, from the lowest to the highest, balanced and without distortion.
