When your mafer or grip head needs a little extra mounting help or you want to convert an instrument from catch to pitch, it's always smart to have a couple of these in your grip bag. Nice, chromed steel. I like the hole for a cotter pin; no such thing as too much safety! Be PREPARED! 5 |

This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |
