Found this cord to be very heavy duty with well made outlet and plug ends, the 12 AWG speaks for itself as very heavy duty as well.

We did a lot of research before making this purchase and we couldn't be happier with this product! It is heavy duty, and very good quality. It came in excellent packaging that made sure it was protected during shipment. It is true though that you need a heavy duty tripod to hold it - we have one that is on the cheaper side and this extender is just too much for it. But if you have a good tripod, this extender works like a charm. Excellent product and excellent quality!

I use it indoor and outdoor..works great, even better than I was expected. Just need a good heavy duty tripod for mount. Give nice soft light

Very well made and heavy duty Tripod for its price. A bit heavy but built to last. I have two that I use for outdoor timed photo shoots. solid construction and with no worries. I subjected them to constant exposure to snow and rain with very reliable almost mil spec performance...

Nice little heavy duty stand. I don't use mine for a mic, I have a small indoor/outdoor antenna on mine. I thought about making a stand, but I couldn't make one as cheap as this. Service was great as usual. It actually arrived 2 days ahead of schedule.
