Pixel 8 Vs Iphone 15 Camera Test

I did a couple tests with my iPhone 11 Pro. On one I was driving down the highway with the windows down doing 70 and did test recordings with the front facing camera and back camera with the built in iPhone mics and with the Rode VideoMic. First off, just using the built in mics, there is a bit of a difference depending on if you shoot with the front facing camera or rear camera. Neither of them were great when I did the highway test. On one of them I could barely hear my voice. Then I used the Rode mic with the dead cat that was included and I could hear my voice no problem. It provided very usable audio. Yes, there's still some background noise cause I'm going 70 with the windows down. But I was VERY impressed at how well it rejects sound that's not straight ahead. A solid shotgut mic for your iPhone for sure.

The iPhone 15 Pro cameras are bigger, so add-on lenses have to be optimized for the new camera. (Stay away from budget lenses) I was happy to see it was sharp and in focus from corner to corner on my 15 Pro. The T-series mount is larger. Moment sells phones cases for the mount, and some iPhone cages have available adapter plates that can handle T-series mounts.  Mount the lens by twisting. Use the included hex key to align the lens so it's vertical. The iPhone 15 Pro camera is already wide, so adding a 1.33x lens means we are approaching the ultra wide view of a GoPro. (You can punch in with the Blackmagic Camera app--so that gives you a range of options). The gold anamorphic flares are stronger than the older models which is nice. Worth the money.

I just received this adapter as a test before getting an iphone 8. I am using it with an iPhone 6 plus. The audio sound is better than that iPhone audio port! The sound has more depth, is crisper, and is more vibrant. My headset is a HyperX Cloud gaming headset, and people indicate that the sound of my voice is better with this adapter than using the stock port as well. My gf said it sounded as clear as a landline instead of like a cell phone. The inline controls also work on the headset even though it is not certified made for iPhone.

I have the Pixel 3, and iPhone Max. They charged fast at the same time and my wife was surprised at the percentage when we got to our location. Both charged super fast. The LED light ring emits a soft glow while driving at night which leaves just enough light that allows you to more easily and safely locate the charging ports without becoming distracted. We are always an iPhone family except for my son. He likes android. LOL. Out of all the androids, the pixel 3 is the purest android experience. Samsung bixby is a joke. Price is higher than pixel and not better. LG and Sony are average. The Chinese one we really don’t have much experience and not interested in trying. For less than 500, the pixel 3 is probably the best one.

I bought this google pixel 3 at B&H about 3 weeks when it went on sale My current phone is iphone 7, this is the first time I have used an Android smartphone. It's quite nice this google pixel 3, it take a very nice picture, compared with my iphone 7. The battery also, even longer my iphone 7. In short, a purchase that I am very happy.
