The Nikon ME-1 works great with strong stereo sound and low background noise. I have only used it a couple of times so far; once in a studio and once on location for disaster relief involving chainsaws and noisy power equipment. The tree cracking sounded awesome! The best thing I like about it is no batteries. The mini-jack powers the mike. I had the Azden, but that has switches all over it and the power switch failed. No switches on the Nikon. Works great with the D850. 5 |

I bought several other foot switches for muting from various places and all made a pop or popping noise when pressed. This was obviously unacceptable when our recordings would have a click any time the mute was pressed. These switches aren't cheap and that's exactly why I bought 3 of them. There's very solidly built and they work flawlessly with no sound in the line when pressing the mute button. I'm guessing the fact that the previous switches I bought were non-powered had something to do with the noise. These foot switches are powered and silent. Exactly what we needed. 5 |

I have deployed these switches in places where it was hard to run power. So far they have been operating great and no problems. Only one concern is thermal issues, since this product gets very warm when all ports are filled and it is passing through POE to power wireless AP. 5 |

I am replacing Cat5E and Cat6 unshielded cables in my patch panels to my switches. and other places where business critical data is flowing. Cat7 SSTP will help wit h resolving drop packets and other network oddities. We all know there is not a fix-all ,but these cable have a good feel to them and I am excited for the upgrade. I recommend the cables where cables are laying over cables , over cables .... 5 |
