I read a few reviews of this product (Blade 14), and BestBuy had a them on display - my first impression was wow this thing looks really well made - something most gaming laptops are lacking, second impression is that it had less cheese factor than most gaming computers, and third impression was how well engineered and responsive it was. And the power in a 14 whose screen, touchpad, tolerances, fit, feel and finish were better than the Microsoft SurfaceBook and probably equal to a MacBook Pro. Yes, expensive, but it looked and felt worth it. I bought the Ryzen 9 RTX 3080 version and two weeks in I am impressed enough now to actually write a review - this is a great machine with no caveats in my mind, and worth what they are charging - the experience is reflected in the very professional and on-brand collateral materials, their web presence, etc. Razer is - surprise - a very top tier player, something I definitely didn't think of them as. Very happy with this purchase. The machine is powerful, smooth, refined, etc. as it should be and without any obvious compromises. If you want a top-tier computer, not just a gaming computer, this company belongs in your consideration set.
