TR of the 3.5mm end of this cable are both wired to pin 2 of the XLR, so your stereo information gets summed to mono. Pins 1 & 3 of the XLR are connected to shield. XLR connector is by Rean and very nice. 5 |

I had to hook a headset (mic and headphones) to a Griffin iMic. The headset has a 4-pin/TRRS 3.5mm plug; the iMic has two jacks, a mic input and headphone outputs; both are 3.5mm 3-pin/TRS. This is the cord that converts it. It works. It's sturdy. I don't think about it. It's surprisingly hard to find these things, so I'm glad B&H stocks them. 5 |

I have a VERY OLD headset and M-12 base from long ago. Unfortunately, the headset gave out. But Plantronics still has compatible replacements such as the HW530. B&H did their usual excellent support and had me a replacement within a few days. 5 |
