Plantronics Mobile Headset Amplifier With 2.5 Mm Plug

Paired it up with my Plantronics wireless headset and everything works great

This will word well with my D-850, which came with a 10-pin, but with a 2.5mm plug. I needed the 3.5 for my Cactus triggers.

This cable is great. It fits precisely the Nikon 10-pin plug and the 2.5mm plug in the equatorial mount! That is all it needs to do!

As GH2 owners are aware- the camera uses the dinky little 2.5mm plug for the microphone. Before I got this cable I had to use all kinds of adapters. This is perfect- it's coiled so it takes less space, and it uses right angle plugs. The gold plating is gravy. The cool thing is it doesn't just work for the Beachtek adapter- it also works for any audio recorder that uses a standard 3.5mm plug where you can send a mic out back to the camera. If you're sending a line out you will need an attenuator like the Sescom. Great cable and good price.

Works just fine. If you look for an extension cable, any 2.5mm stereo cable will work; it's a standard plug size.

The D-Tap and the 2.5mm barrel plug are well built. I have many devices that require 2.5mm. Sometimes, you can also get away installing on a 2.1mm jack as an emergency if you don't have the 2.1mm version. I recommend getting both 2.1 and 2.5mm for versatility on set. I'm powering a Godox GM-55 with this cable which requires a 2.5mm plug. I also have pictures attached to this review. Works very well for me. I plug this AC-5002 headset into the 3.5mm jack on my HP Probook for Zoom conferences and everything works perfect. Priced less than twenty bucks you will have a tough time finding anything that works better.

I have a VERY OLD headset and M-12 base from long ago.  Unfortunately, the headset gave out.  But Plantronics still has compatible replacements such as the HW530.   B&H did their usual excellent support and had me a replacement within a few days.

It offers both a USB connection for my computer and a headset jack for my phone. I downloaded Plantronics software for my Windows 10 PC. I am very pleased with this product

I'm using this to replace a cheap in-ear headset that came with one of my Smartphones year ago. I could not believe how comfortable the new Plantronics would be. It's great for hour-long Google Hangouts/Meet and Zoom. People actually mentioned that my voice is much clearer and that there's very little ambient noise, even when someone else in the same room is on a call at the same time. The mute button only mutes on the headset but the volume buttons on the headset control the volume within Linux. I even like listening to music through it.
