Plastic Cabinet Pull Out Drawers

I have 4 of these. They took the place of random storage in plastic bags and the bottom of drawers. I like them because they are waterproof and secure, yet easy to open without breaking a fingernail, unlike some other competitors. Not expensive and highly recommended.

Purchased for my annual Super Bowl party. Out on a big pull down screen in my patio and placed projector there’s. During daylight hours picture is a little washed out as e no g set in it was beautiful and clear. Sound and pic great. Easy to use hook up and stream. Also hooked up to IPhone. Love it.

I'm impressed with how sturdy & well made this cabinet is. One tip: it looks a little sleeker if you leave the pull handle inside (which is the way it arrives). It's just as easy to open the door by grabbing the side as it would be to use the handle. There's plenty of room in this 80L version (should be enough for most photographers, even with an assortment of lenses).

I finally decided to pull the trigger on one of these sealed cabinets. I think my studio room is ever so slightly on the humid side, depending on weather (not the best setup, I'll admit). This cabinet offers GREAT peace of mind, especially with the display reading the temperature and humidity values inside. Now I know my gear is kept under 70 (the cabinet doesn't control temperature by the way, just measures it) and at around 40% humidity. You might notice in the photo (besides my fixation with the Olympus XA), that the humidity readout says 50%. It jumped from 42% to 53% within a minute of being open, giving you an idea of the actually humidity in the room. It probably took about 15min to lower the humidity back down to the 40% area. I was overdue on one of these and am glad I pulled the trigger. If you've been considering a cabinet like this, this one is a good option, at least from my newb's perspective on cabinets. Holds quite a bit too!

I caught a B&H Flash deal and decided to pull the trigger - my older smaller cabinet was just bursting at the seams. This has brighter LEDs although they could have put some one the other side of the cabinet that would have been helpful - or a built in USB port to allow installation later with 3rd party lights. Otherwise it keeps the humidity nice and low and has plenty of room for three camera systems.

This is my first dry cabinet. I have always been reluctant to buy one because of the price, but after considering the value of the gear that I would be putting in the cabinet I decided to give it a go. I love the build quality of the cabinet, the front doors are glass and the rest of the cabinet is metal with the exception of the shelves and those are plastic. I wish those were metal as well but the plastic seems to be sturdy enough. Each shelf has a foam pad for it so I don’t have to worry about scuffing my gear on bare metal/plastic shelf. I live in Florida where it is almost always hot and humid and even indoors the humidity will reach 65% in the summer. Currently indoor humidity is around 55%. Included in the box for the dry cabinet is a list of recommended humidity settings for different kinds of gear. Based on the provided list and some research online I decided to set my dry cabinet at 42% humidity. To get from 55% to 42% humidity it takes about 4 hours. Once it reaches 42% it shuts off (its hard to tell when it is running since it is completely silent) and it doesn’t turn back on until the humidity hits 44%. Something I found surprising is that the humidity setting can be adjusted in 1% increments. Something I didn’t think about when buying this cabinet is that it does have two doors and two separate climate zones (top and bottom). The nice thing about that is I can open one of the doors and not effect the humidity in the other compartment. That is very nice since opening a door almost immediately makes the humidity level rise to the same as the room that it is in. The other nice thing is if you are trying to store different kinds of items in the cabinet you can set the humidity of the two compartments separately from one another. I would recommend a dry cabinet to anyone that lives in a humid climate.

I'm grateful I decided to order the 600L dry cabinet. For my needs, anything less would not have sufficed. The cabinet arrived very(!) well protected and in excellent condition. Once emancipated from the multiple layers of crate and packing materials, the cabinet proved to be easy to maneuver thanks to its robust locking casters. Once in place, the rest of the setup was simple. So far, it seems to be maintaining my desired RH level quite easily. I currently reside in the American south (cue banjo music) where humidity is an issue during the warmer months; fortunately, the Ruggard Dry Cabinet is more than up to the task of keeping my photography equipment safe & dry. And it looks pretty good too! My only wish (and other reviewers have noted this as well) is for a metal option for the shelf brackets. So far the supplied plastic brackets seem fine, but I can't help but worry. If I can find metal replacements, I will definitely upgrade. Admittedly, I don't know of anyone who had experienced a failure of the plastic brackets. So I might be worrying needlessly. Still, given the expense and rarity of some of my lenses, metal brackets would be reassuring. Other than that, the cabinet works and looks great.

Made of stamped steel (not flimsy plastic) fits nicely into cabinet and onto speaker stand. The top is rounded so it will not jam into speaker top hat.

This is a great minimalistic wallet. If is well made and has everything covered. The pull tab works easily. My only complaint is that it comes with two fake plastic cards for demonstrative purposes. I think these could have been made of cardboard to reduce plastic waste. Or they could be omitted entirely.

Setup couldn't be simpler - you just place the AirTag next to your iPhone, pull off the plastic strip that activates the AirTag's battery, and within seconds the iPhone recognizes the AirTag and starts tracking it. If you do use your iPhone to command the AirTag to play a sound, the result is surprisingly loud and strident for such a small device, not much chance of missing that sound!
