Plastic Chest Of Drawers Wooden Top

I have 4 of these. They took the place of random storage in plastic bags and the bottom of drawers. I like them because they are waterproof and secure, yet easy to open without breaking a fingernail, unlike some other competitors. Not expensive and highly recommended.

If you have and love the FS7 you need this shock mount along with two other items. I use a FS7 cheeseplate from Small Rig. That plate allows me to screw this Wooden Camera shock mount and an extension arm (also by Wooden) into the camera. It's rock solid! Yes the Wooden mount is made of heavy plastic. But it has HEAVY plastic and strong machine screws as well as a large torque producing handle. I had broken the original Sony mount. I had used and broken the Rode replacement (too delicate) and now I've found this. Buy it along with the extension arm and you can attach it directly to the camera or to a cheeseplate like me.

Ok, it's plastic. But it's some pretty nice looking plastic. There might be fancier wooden ones out there, but for the price and material, this thing looks pretty nice. I also appreciate the option to mount it with either screws or mounting tape. I mounted mine with screws and it's not going anywhere!

This case is so much better than the flimsy wooden and plastic cases that come with these mics. My Schoeps came in a nice, wooden box, but is like a display case. It would fall apart in the field. This case is rugged. It has a foam insert that holds the mic in place and a thick, rubber O-ring on the top cover. Then, it uses a pro twist-draw latch, like an ATA-style shipping case. Now, I just throw my mic into a backpack or large Pelican case and don't worry about crushing it or damage from knocking into stuff. I have one for my Sennheiser 416 and one for my Schoeps CMC41 w/Cut1 filter attached.

This is a very nice stand. It includes a wooden top unlike most of the cheap metal stands. Super nice for the $$.

All the Wooden Camera Canon C70 accessory kits suffer from a design flaw - The top plate and handle only interface with the camera via one bolt. As a result, the top plate consistently works loose from the camera and introduces an unacceptable amount of play into any peripherals attached to the camera. I'm certain Wooden Camera developed this accessory to solve this design flaw. This accessory adds a mounting point so that the cage also connects via a bolt underneath the camera. So yes, this is a great product, but only because it solves a design flaw that should not have been present to start with. I expect more from Wooden Camera accessory kits especially at their price point.

I love Wooden Camera. I've never had a product from them that wasn't exactly as promised. This top plate is extremely well machined, and fits like a glove. A perfect addition to my FS7MK2. I love having multiple mounting points for wireless, monitor, lights, what have you. A little on the pricey side, but you usually get what you pay for

It's great. Good for people w larger hands, more to grip. Also good for being low profile in terms of the part that connects to the cage isn't too large, so your fingers have more room to breathe btwn the cage and the side handle...(unlike niceyrig's wooden side handle, which doesn't leave as much space for your hand.) Black aesthetic is cool. Prefer the old Smallrig A73 Dark Olive Cage's wooden top and side handles to the black rubbery grip, but that's my only complaint and it's minor. Included allen key on the bottom is a plus for quick add/removes. Prefer these arri connections over nato, nato scares me. too many horror stories of disconnecting rigs falling to the floor. w arri mount antitwist i don't have that fear. also dig the 1/4-20 female threads on the top. nice

Running a Kessler Kwik receiver on top as a quick release system and a wooden camera dovetail clamp below it. You can adjust the height of this baseplate and it comes with 2 aluminum rods and a plastic card to ensure you get the correct lens height for a 15mm LWS setup. The only thing I don't like is the wooden cork pad on the top, that's something you usually only see on really low end/entry level tripod heads.
