Plastic File Box

This was my third and last attempt to store my mirrorless Nikon equipment. I had been reduced to a plastic file box on the floor. It was the big telephoto which triggered this purchase. The fact that it is quite easily used as a carry-on luggage for airlines sealed this deal. I like that the four casters keep it maneuvering while upright. It fits a medium shirt and pants folder as well as my z7 and 7 lenses. There is also a good assortment of interior pockets to organize batteries, cables and optics gear. The included rain cover is quite nice but the external tripod harness is laughable. 5 |

I've bought Print File since the 1970's and over the past 10 years or so, the quality/thickness of the plastic seems to vary, even if both purchases were the same thickness. 5 |

Can't go wrong with Print File negative sleeves. They're made out of a high quality, thick plastic, while still remaining clear. 5 |

This drive is small, simple, and file transfer is very quick. Ready to use right out of the box. Does everything well, at a very reasonable price. I bought this on sale, which made it even better. Easily stored when not in use. 5 |

I purchased this Print File archival box and also a comparable Archival Methods box. The Print File board material is twice as thick as the Archival Methods product, and feels much sturdier. The construction is very good on both. 5 |

The Logan Electric Slide File is solidly constructed and stores a very large quantity of slides. I have a large box of slides I'm digitally archiving. The projector trays the slides are stored in, take up a large amount of space and don't have covers. So, not only are they taking up space, they're unprotected! Moving them to this Slide Tray is simple and efficient. I will easily be able to take the entire box and move all of these slides into the Slide File and take up a tenth of the space. They'll be easier to access, if I need to, and I know they'll be protected. Great product at a great price. 5 |

This box will hold 3’x 4’ photographs. It is on the expensive side but is WAY less expensive than the flat file blueprint drawers! I am quite happy with it and it was delivered promptly as is always the case with B&H. 5 |

Took about 2 minutes from the time it was out of the box until the batch of pictures was in it. Access after loading is same as any other file on the computer. Desk top with Windows 10 5 |

Never again wake up at night in a cold sweat and say to yourself, Are my slides stored properly? Travel to foreign and exotic lands. Take photos of beautiful people and exotic locals, while all the while you have the piece of mind that your grandparents slides from their 1957 trip to Yellowstone National Park are safely tucked away in your Logan Electric Slide File #200! Although, the reviewer Neal the professional archaeologist (read his review, too) has a few years on my mother and me as far as usage of these boxes, I have been using these boxes since 1987 when I first got serious in high school with photography. Two weeks ago, I was on vacation at my parents place and my uncle presented me with nearly 3000 family slides that had been unceremoniously dumped into zip-lock bags. Although they had been sorted into categories, the storage was unconscionable at best. I immediately pulled out my phone and ordered 4 boxes via the B&H app. The boxes are as good as my 30 year old box and it is hard to tell if there are any major changes. When loaded with 750 slides (hint: you can get more slides in if you don't use the dividers that are provided) the box weighs almost 9 pounds! To get my 4 boxes into 2 suitcases along with the rest of my stuff and keep the weight under 50#'s: creative packing was applied. To wrap this review up, these boxes are the ONLY boxes that I would store slides in. Oh, and it has a handle! I hope that the designer that put that into the design got a healthy bonus that year. I am not impressed with the plastic insert boxes that Logan sells. Only the #200. Sleep well at night. Purchase the Logan Electric Slide File #200. You won't regret it. The rating only goes to 5 stars. I personally give this box 6 stars. 5 |
