Playing Bass Through Guitar Amp With Headphones

I have a headphone amp that plugs into my guitar so I can stroll around my apartment playing, without bothering the neighbors. Now that I have added the Tone:Link I can stream music and play along as I stroll. The back and forth buttons, pause button, and volume control are all I need. And it is smaller than a matchbox. 5 |

Bought this for my nephews' birthday. He likes not having to drag his guitar amp when playing in the garage or deck. 5 |

I'm a jazz guitarist playing an 8-string classical guitar that goes higher and lower than a regular guitar. It has a K & K pickup and I my amp is a JBL EON powered speaker, which, for this instrument sounds better than any jazz guitar amp. I have used the Zoom A-3 preamp as well as an L.R. Baggs Venue DI. They are both very good but I'd say the Grace Alix is the best I've found. It has great features you can read about but I must say that the sound of my guitar with the EQ set flat is strong, clear and simply amazing! It's very well thought out. Worth the price. 5 |

I bought a Moog Subsequent 25 synth to see how I liked it. I am a guitar/bass player who enjoy playing classic and progressive rock like Zeppelin, Rush, Yes, etc. I really wanted something that I could use to get the tones for those earlier Rush albums. After playing the Subsequent 25 and loving it, I decided to get a Subsequent 37 as I needed at least one more octave for certain songs. It did not disappoint. There are way more presets on the Subsequent 37 and most are great as is. Well worth it. 5 |

Used once for powering guitar amp, powered monitor, pedal board, and bass amp on stage. Performed well and kept the hums at bay. Long cord legnth and good plug access. 5 |

I was looking for a micro amp to mix our stage monitor signal with my mic or guitar/bass -- so I could add a bit more of me in my headphones. This works great. Has both sizes of headphone jacks, a choice of mono or stereo, separate monitor and mic/instrument volume controls, and XLR in and thru for live mixing. Also has a ground lift, which can be a difference-maker when you have house line noise. I use it mostly for adding my bass to the monitor mix. Small enough to fit on my pedal board, so it just comes along with me all the time now. The only caveat: The XLR inputs are low-Z, so you'll need a DI box to connect instruments. However, that is easy to work around considering all the other benefits. 5 |

This is just the budget mic I was looking for to pair with a sm57 when mic'ing my guitar amp. The bass response really fattens up the recorded tone when paired with the mid forward sm57. Add an AT2020 for as a room mic for top end and ambience and you can record some pretty solid guitar tracks. 5 |

Love it so far. Like the other reviewer, I bought it as a guitar amp since it was priced so competitively against a good amp. It has more functionality with the mixer over a traditional amp. with 800Watts, it has the bass needed to push a drum kit and bass player. The dishes in my china cabinet were literally hopping. I will return to revise the update with more time. 5 |

I use the SLA-2 with a BBE bass pre-amp to run two Eminence CB15 15 bass guitar speakers. This amp has more power than I will ever need. George Red Taylor 5 |
