Playstation Network Store Update Time

When it came time to update my home network, I consulted my business IT company. They highly recommended I go with Ubiquiti, same manufacture currently used in our office. The AMPLIFI system is excellent as a stand alone, but exceeds expectations with the MeshPoint HD Satellite units. All areas in our home previously not receiving signal are now fully covered by the very inconspicious and thoughtful design.

This is my 3rd generation of WD NAS units currently running. They get bigger and faster with every one I buy, but they are all still running great. I like it much better (no comparison) than the odd ball Seagate NAS in the picture. I will buy more WD units as needed. Very easy to setup, about as hard as falling off a log. I store digital media including audio and video on these units and stream it on my home network to any TV in the house with ease. I can have multiple TVs streaming the same movie at the same time without issue. The transfer time runs at about 112 mb/s from my PC to the PR4100 which is over twice as fast as my 1st gen EX units which only run at about 46 mb/s over my network. I also use it for my daily backup of my PC and can store anything I like on them. I dump all my pictures from our phones to it also so they don't run out of space. I can't say anything bad about them. I have only had 1 drive fail that I had to replace in all the years I have had them and it was very easy to swap out and was even covered on warranty. Once swapped, it will automatically rebuild the drive for you. You won't go wrong with one of these.

Let's get the end of my story out of the way first...this was a massive upgrade over my Synology RT2600ac-based network. What was *NO* fun was getting the rest of my network devices (an MR2200ac unit or two) into the new network and then repurposing my 2600ac as yet another mesh station. It can be done (once everyone is on the same SRM version) but there's *NO* documentation in the box or on the Synology web about how you make that happen. Finally figured it out. You reset each device, unplug your computer/laptop from the net and attach to the synology network for each device as it comes out of reset mode...then (assuming you planned ahead and have already downloaded the SRM update for the device you're now connected to) you update the SRM software on the device. Reset it again (to wipe whatever was there...the SRM update persists) and you attach and connect it as a mesh device on the net. Leaving the hassle of that undocumented process aside, once I was done, I saw that my old RT2600AC unit was connecting--wirelessly--to the new base station with a faster throughput than I had when it was a 2600AC based network with a WIRED connection to the MESH outpost. That's amazing. So, if this is your first Synology router, go for it. It's amazing. If you have an existing Synology network with mesh add-ons and you want this to take over the management of your network, get ready for about 2 hours of pain (but in a good way considering the end state)

Fantastic product. Very easy setup and update for the units using an app on my iPhone. Mesh units quickly recognized the main router and started working. Took some spotty network coverage to a solid network! My favorite thing about this version of AmpliFi is being able to set 3 levels of QoS. This allows to give priority to the important devices on my network, like my wife's laptop who works from home, and deprioritize the kids tablets. Works like a charm!

We had Ubiquiti UAP-Pros which were EOL. These devices, when added to the network had a seamless update from the network controller and even worked with the old mounting brackets. Easiest upgrade ever.

Got these to use for my Playstation since headphones are uncomfortable while wearing glasses for a long period of time, and they’re absolutely perfect!! Super comfortable for hours at a time

Donkey Kong , Pac-Man, Atari, PlayStation, Xbox. It’s finally here . The next generation as long time gamer. I’ve been waiting a long time for this kind of quality and immersion is simply awesome. Eventually the games will catch up well very fun they’re not at the level of some of the Consol games yet but they will be.
