We purchased this at B&H after looking at several options in the store. A few reasons why we choose this one. 1) Ease of setup is superior. I set this up for the first time on a cold dark evening in about 1 hour. The stand is solid and makes for frustration free setup. 2) Quality components are included in this scope. The tripod is near professional grade, the optics are crisp, the motion is very accurate and repeatable. You will be nothing but pleased with the quality. 3) The Celestron motion controller is very intuitive and easy to use. You will be viewing celestial objects very quickly. We used solar system object setup for the first time and within an hour had great views of the moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and its Galilean moons. 4) Very compact and packed away very well. Overall, I'm very impressed.

Good way to store the gear -visible- instead of having it hidden in photo bags and the cabinet makes it easier to choose the needed lenses for the particular task of the day.

Given the choice between going to a brick and mortar store, ordering from B&H, or Amazon, I gladly choose B&H. I know I will get a genuine item, not an Asian fake (which I risk with Amazon) and that it will be priced better than the brick and mortar. Item arrived promptly. Worked perfectly straight out of the box. And I had plenty of choices--not just one model (that is often a brick & mortar problem). Obviously, there are things I can't buy from you. But when it is the kind of thing you carry, I happily turn to you.
