The Icon microphone is a little more temperamental than its sibling the Ethos microphone, and though there are many times I don't want to change the Icon's excellent designed properties, there are many times that this extra filter makes recording easier while still creating an great final product, albeit a slightly different one. It offers another tool for flexibility in difficult recording situations. 5 |

Once you plug it in you just have to click on the icon that appears on your desktop. I have found that you have to reboot your machine if you plug in to a different screen/setup, but it's not a big deal. Glad to have dual monitors again. Thank you! 5 |

I'm using this with my D7000. Just enable the remote in the settings then turn the dial to the remote icon and you're ready to go! It's tiny so it fits in any little pocket of your bag and is easily concelled in your hand when you want to join the group shot. Also great for night shooting on a tripod to avoid shake and blur. 5 |

I didn't get the negative comment about this item. We have to put the battery in the chamber, plug the power adapter and turn on the camera. That doesn't mean the battery is being used during this process. Battery icon is greyed out which means the adapter is powering the camera at that time. Unplug the adapter and the battery icon will light up. The only downside I found was that it prevents you from using the mini USB port for video streaming. But I can still use the hdmi for video. 5 |
