I bought two of these as 'preventive medicine' for my R6s. It seems Canon chose to internalize the tightening of the Hot Shoe screws and both my R6s came down with loose/disconnected Hot Shoes. I bought this cage and coupled it with the Vello(1.5') Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord to connect my Canon 600s strobes. If the strobe gets bumped heavy...it breaks the strobe and not the camera. As for the rest of the benefits of the bracket, it fits like a glove BUT...the image B&H has on the website is not the one I received. I like the one I received better as it does not place the hot shoe on an angle. 5 |

To me this has proved to be a wise investment. I have taken photos for personal use and really had no good place to store them or a way to pass around to friends and family without them getting finger prints all over them. It has a flap to secure the image and help keep dust out. They seem fairly rugged also. 5 |

My wife and I use them for hiking and daily use, we each have one on our bags and can pass the camera back and fourth with a secure way to store it. Both clips work consistently and as expected. The a7 with a 24-105 feels secure and doesn't slide or shift on the bag. 5 |

I buy a lot of these every year to pass out videos of concerts done by various bands. Each band performs for about an hour and a half. I mail each band one of these flash drives with an HD version of their entire concert so that they can upload it to their websites and promote their band. These drives meet and exceed my expectations! 5 |
