Works as advertised: plays all regions of dvds, blurays and 4k blurays with minimal fuss. Haven't tried blu-ray region C though. I don't use the internet features but has familiar Roku interface. Also plays a variety of media via usb port. This cd replace all your other disk-based media and accommodates more. Hope it lasts but seems to have typical SONY high build quality. I also own the similar SONY multi-region blu-ray player and it has held up well under regular use. 5 |

I sue this with the VariZoom VZMEDIARIG DV Media Rig, so that I don't need to reach for various regions of the camera for focus, iris and zoom. Basically this controller does as designed and advertised. 5 |

Cover fits the lens well, protecting the lens from bumps and scratches in the kit bag. Also reduces the thermal shock to the lens when working in the polar regions and is gentler on the fingers in the polar regions. 5 |

I use several Apple Superdrives [since they are set to different regions for DVD's. Unfortunately, even with usbA to usbc adapter they all give the same error (not enough power, plug directly into computer). Most [powered] hubs indeed give enough power for the Apple DVD player, but somehow in the mac power management software, they deny these drives being plugged into the hubs. Thus valuable port real estate is devoted to one dvd player. Sonnet support has said that they are working on a software patch to cure this on this hub and presumably their larger hubs. 5 |
