Upon buying the 75-300 lens I naturely added this hood to the shopping cart.I use it constantly when using the lens with great satisfaction.

Heres the thing about RED. Yes, all of their stuff is pricey. I find myself staring at my shopping cart thinking before I buy anything for my RED. After every purchase, though, I have had my expectations exceeded. You truly get what you pay for and this handle is no exception. The molded grip feels very comfortable, the programmable buttons are a fantastic feature, and the fact that it bolts into the side of the camera brain without obstructing any mounting holes on the top of the camera is a big plus.

I've had this in my shopping cart for weeks and finally decided to buy it. I live in Canada and you can't get these here. I didn't want the Mackie Big Knob products because of the not so steller reviews concerning noise. I needed a controller to switch back and forth between my Eris monitors and my DT 770 Pro 250 ohms powered by a Monoprice headphone amp. It is flawless and very transparent no noise or added color from what I can tell. The knob is smooth and box doesn't feel cheap at all. I was a little hesistant to order out of country, but I chose the option that prepays all the duties and taxes and I got it via ups in about 4 days. Very fast! Highly recommend.. Just make sure you pre- plan to know what type of cables you might need depending on your setup.
