Why is a twisted piece of metal a 5? Because its simple and effective and not an over priced, over engineered tool like its competitor products. I believe in spending on high quality items to get high quality results. This is not high priced and it could be mistaken for low quality but that would be untrue. I have been looking around for a monopod for awhile. The local camera store had one that the sections twisted to loosen and just screwed on to the base of the camera (no ball), but I was looking for clamped sections and found this one on line. This also has a ball head which is a bonus. Really quick and easy to adjust with the clamps. After using it a few times, I think I will order a quick release attachment. It seems sturdy and well-made. My camera is just under 2# and handles it well and holds it tight into place. I would recommend it. 5 |

Purchased this to store my backups. Case is solid metal with no plastic which helps with heat dissipation. It does get warm but not to the point of it being a problem. Installed Samsung 870 Pro with no problem and achieved 1.8 Gbs transfer rate using USB C 3.2 Gen 1. There is some weight to the enclosure, but I see this as a plus in terms of durability. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a well made NVMe enclosure. 5 |
