Great product. Very good instructions for DIY and if you have a problem they have a support number to call.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a number of computers, from laptops to desktops, old and new, mostly on the Windows 10 platform. I needed a powered USB port hub to 1) increase the number of ports available and 2) to be able to support the power requirements of the peripherals and accessories that I attached to the computer. For example, I have a tablet that I use that is attached to my computer via USB, however, while I am using the tablet it loses its charge and the computer not able to provide enough power to re-charge it. Another example is to provide enough power to external harddrives. I do a lot of programming and technical work on my computers that I have different accessories attched to them - mouse, keyboards, external microphone, web and DSLR camera, smart phones/tablets, CD/DVD reader/burner, bluetooth and WiFi dongles, flash drives, etc. I have other USB port hubs that do not have the external power and it cannot support all the accessories I attached to them.

There are any number of options of lanyards that would work to hold your Hoodman to your body, but why not support the company directly and use their option. It's much larger and sturdier than any other lanyard I found. Sturdy clip and cable, I'm not worried about it breaking with normal use. I do wish they'd make it in bright yellow or blaze orange as well - easier to find in the camera bag. :-)

the metabones are well known around the world. Ill share my thoughts. first off this is for attaching the full frame lenses, so if you try to use it with the dx lenses you will get the vignetting the ill informed bloggers warn about. as far as use its simple, attach to camera and leave it there, I would suggest a cage with a adaptor support as mounting lenses can get a little tight and there is some play between the adaptor and the camera body. a cage with a adaptor support will make this rock solid. You will notice that finally the f- number on the adaptor is accurate when starting your lenses lowest f number at 1. I found that when you get about halfway between 6 to 7 on the adaptor there is no change in exposure, meaning the adaptor moves further than the lens aperture finger does. no harm just sharing it with you. thats it, image quality is great. functionality is even better. learn your math for your conversion of your lens mm. its easy, mm* adaptor*sensor crop. so, 50mm*.64*2= 64. finally get a light meter so you can find out what your transmission is and that you can have accurate exposures. enjoy this piece of kit. its the most useful thing ever. e

Everything worked great out of the box as soon as I signed into my iCloud account. I used the migration assistant to move my applications from my old computer to the new MacBook Pro. At that point Safari stopped working. I went online using my old computer and found Apple support. The site said to put in my telephone number and the product serial number and someone would call me back within two minutes. In less then the two minutes I received the callback and the woman at Apple stayed on the phone with me for a long time until she found that my old computer had a later version of Big Sur than my new computer. Once she had me download the latest update to the OS, Safari, as well as everything else worked perfectly. The excellent Apple support was great. The new machine works so much faster than my six year old iMac that it is unbelievable.

This lens is a great beginner addition to your lens portfolio. It will provide you with a good range, and will support a number photographic scenes and applications. It is a good value, and a must have for travelers and wanderers alike.

I have had to use AppleCare a number of times with initial glitches in synching all info from old devices. Phone support has been great, problems resolved without a lot of wait time.

Well, maybe you can, but Ive found that about four is a good number, so you have your various mounts waiting and ready for all the support tools you are likely to use on given set, three is a practical minimum, but likely five is getting excessive for most people. Toad in Hole system is leagues better and faster than the Ronin slide-in system.
