Action is very close to a stringed piano pedal. Holds the notes well. Great product and price

Perfect. My children can now practice their stringed instruments at their desks or any table without having to set up a regular sized music stand. We love the fact that it is manufactured in the USA.

I bought this specific item to refit an old Anvil Case which had originally been used for multiple Video camera batteries. The image shows I have not plucked any out yet, and that is only due to some items not having arrived yet to lay pieces out optimally. I picked the size correctly otherwise so no adhesive was required. It took a little while to find the right size and while I came up a little short in one dimension, it still works out fine as the gap is perfectly sized for width for nesting a 420-800mm lens. The pluckable foam is adequately robust prior to plucking so you can get the foam squished in without them tearing loose. Foam is expensive when you are looking for something thicker than 2 inches, and pluckable foam even moreso. But in spite of the pricetag, this was actually the best price I found for this ultimate size. The fact the pluckable foam portion comes in 2- 2 inch sheets is also good as shorter items, like an 18mm lens can get placed in without risk of the item falling to the bottom of a 4 inch deep hole- you don't have to worry about tearing the foam reaching in to fish it out.. I wish I had done this sooner.

I just purchased the 1610 case from Pelican and a month earlier I had purchased an American made Seahorse (I think ) case. The Pelican is by far the better case . Even the pluckable foam is better . I won't go into details on all the better parts but Pelican cases in every aspect are superior.

I bought this after getting fed up with the pluckable foam. This is so much tidier and allows for a much greater amount of space than the foam did. It may be possible to replicate the design with materials from Michaels, but who has time for that?

I use this case to store 6 of my SLR lenses and it works beautifully! The pluckable custom fitting liner means that whatever you are storing in the case is perfectly snug and protected. The water-proof seal is a great bonus too.

I use this product to store my Panasonic DVX and its accessories. Its really durable and the custom pluckable foam is great. I recommend this case for anyone looking to protect their equipment.

I got a used Pelican 1520 case with pluckable foam as part of a used camera deal. I was going to sell the case but thought it would make a good lens storage/transportation case so I ditched the foam and ordered the divider set. The divider set is very nice, and much better than the foam. The dividers will change with your needs where the foam will not. The Pelican case will last a lifetime. Why not get a divider set that is flexible to be able to meet current and future needs?
