Just like all the mini converters I've used from Blackmagic, this one performs as advertised. Truly plug and play. We use this at 1080P frame rate, so if you need 4k, you'll need to step up to a more expensive unit. 5 |

I use Blackmagic micro converters all the time whether it's an SDI camera feed I need extended, or just sending video signal from my switcher over a long run to a jumbo-tron. These guys are my go to. However I found myself in a bit of a situation while I was running some lines for several TV displays around my church. This Mini Converter UpDownCross HD was incredibly handy in resolving the issue of splitting my HD signal at least 3 different ways without having to run an entirely new line from the control room. Like I said I use these things all the time, and almost without fail they are as plug and play as it comes. You just pull em out of the box plug them in and get on your way. With this Converter you may have to play around with the Dipswitches to make sure you are transmitting the appropriate signal to all of your devices. 5 |

Very happy with this plug. I ordered two and they are so much better than earlier plugs. Easy to set up, almost plug and play, and more stable than the older versions. I ran into trouble with one plug which was my fault. I needed to call the service line for help and the tech was both helpful and informative. He patiently walked worked with me until we finally got the plug back on line. 5 |
