Pny Cs900 120 Gb 2.5 Solid State Drive

I recently upgraded my Home Lab server Dell PowerEdge R620 with the PNY 2TB CS900 SATA III 2.5 Internal SSD and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The installation was a breeze and the drive was recognized immediately by the server. One of the standout features of the PNY 2TB CS900 is its fast read and write speeds. The drive has significantly improved the overall performance of my server, with applications and data transfers completing in a fraction of the time it used to take. In addition to its speed, the 2TB capacity of the drive has provided me with ample storage space for my server's needs. I no longer have to worry about running out of storage and can focus on other aspects of my setup. Another aspect I appreciate about the PNY 2TB CS900 is its reliability. Solid state drive worth it.

This is my 3rd PNY CS900 SSD over the past 2 years. All have been good performers and completely reliable. I also own a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB, which performs =slightly= faster in Crystal Disk Mark, but the difference is not noticeable to the user. Attached photo shows results for the PNY 1TB (with Bitlocker enabled).

I've bought and installed several of these PNY CS900 SATA SSD's of various capacities over the past 3 years, with great reliability and performance. I've become so confident in the brand that I have now bought a couple of NVMe models as well.

excellent little solid state drive - and powerful

The flash drive of 120 GB is great to travel on the go to have hundreds of photos on it and take it with me anywhere

I use it for a 1 gb 2.5 ssd data disk and a 3 tb 3.5 back up drive. Works great, much faster than the usb 3 set up I previously had with my MacPro. It stays connected and and senses when the computer powers up then to powers both the drives. It automatically powers down when you turn off the computer. A Very good purchase.

Every computer should come with these solid state drives these days. I already had a 500 GB installed, now I added this drive just for my photography files. Dramatic increase in speed accessing files. Worth every penny as the price of these drives continues to drop. Every computer I use will have one of these from now on, except my laptop (for now).

I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

Had 120 GB versions of this drive in employee workstations for quite some time now, all with no issues. Put this one in my MacBook Pro and performance increased as expected!
