Pny Turbo 128Gb Usb 2.0 Flash Drives

I use the PNY 128gb Turbo 3.0 flash drive to back up my extensive photo work and also my video's. Being USB 3 it's much faster and the size (physical size) of the drive is ideal for for storage. Doesn't take up space and easy to bring along if need be to show work on it. A HDD I had for backup failed and I lost tons of images. I still use a HDD but this gives me an extra margin of safety. This makes 3 now for storage. Couldn't be happier or more at ease. 5 |

I already have several PNY flash drives in 128GB capacity. I like the connector protection that doesn't come off and can't be lost. They're great for big files, but the largest files I want to store (photo or music collections, for example) are a bit too much for them. These 256GB drives are what I need. I bought two 2-packs, which means I can walk around with a Terabyte in my pocket. Oh, and they have hidden LEDS that flash when transferring data. It may be a gimmick, but I like to have it. 5 |

If you have USB 2 drives on your older computer then stay with PNY 64 GB Flash Drives. They work and are FAT 32 formated. No Problems with these Flash Drives. I tried 128 GB Flash Drives that were suppose to work on USB 2 thru USB 3. My first file copied to them and the memory crashed and burned. I ordered the PNY 64 GB USB 2 and they are excellent. Smaller GB but always work. 5 |

I was able to combine several smaller usb's onto this 128GB, very convenient. My computer only has 2.0 flash and this drive works well. 5 |

Nano USB flash drives can be a real chore to remove, especially from recessed ports -- the smallness that helps keep them from being caught on something can also make them difficult to get a hold of. This PNY flash drive contains a very useful hole perfect for a lanyard, keychain, etc. Performance-wise, the PNY flash drive tested fine on my old hardware's add-on USB 3.0 ports. Machine is running Win 10 and old HD Tach (see photo). Interestingly, HD Tach froze up trying to test another 64GB flash drive, so the PNY is doing something correctly the other did not. Overall, the flash drive seems well-made, with a metal connector, not plastic. No winking LED. The connector cap is snug enough that it should keep from falling off. 5 |

I like PNY flash drives because the USB connection port does not try to slide into the storage slot when one plugs it in teh computer port like the sliding storage style drives. Never had a problem with this brand. 5 |

This was my 4th time ordering PNY flash drives. They never have let me down! 5 |

Very fast. Usually usb 2.0 flash drives more than 8gb are very slow. But this being USB 3.0, even with 32gig capacity, is very fast. I copied an 800mb file and it just took about 12 seconds... Amazing. :)I would have loved it even more if it had a capless design. 5 |

Functionally speaking, there's nothing really extraordinary about these flash drives. They work as expected for USB 2.0 drives. They're a pretty good value for the price, though. What I do like is the sliding case, which eliminates the problem of the little caps disappearing. I wish the lanyard hole were a little bigger so I could put a key ring through it; but hey, life isn't perfect -- at least not in this world. I mainly use these drives for operating system installation images. Many motherboards won't boot from a USB 3.x port, making flash drives higher than USB 2.0 a waste of money. In addition, installation images are almost never more than 12GB at most (and usually are much smaller), so these drives are a good size for that mission. My other mission for these drives is as recovery media to boot sickly machines into a recovery environment from which they can be restored from backup. That also has to be done from a USB 1 or 2 port; so again, USB 3.0 flash drives would be a waste of money for that mission. 5 |

I bought a PNY USB 3.0 128GB drive before. It didn't work on some of my computers. The Sandisk one seems to be of higher quality and faster speed. The overall experience exceeds the expectation. 5 |
