We upgraded to the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k because of our need for a better low-light video camera. The old camera delivered too much grain to the video in even the best of circumstances. I needed something heavy duty enough to hold an 11lb video projector with 1/4 camera style thread mount from whatever existing ceiling beams or wall supports would be on location. This, in combination with an adapter for a quick release ball head lets me get set up quickly. Very competitive price for the quality of construction. 5 |

First use for this was a 150' SDI run from a video camera to a video projector. My camera had an SDI output, but the projector only had HDMI. Worked amazingly well. The bonus was that the converter allowed me to strip the audio signal and send it to a mixer using the 1/4 left and right jacks. This worked out well as it minimized the amount of cables I had to tape down. i would give it 5 stars for this alone! Looking forward to my next project. 5 |

Ran cable from a video camera to a projector. Converted the projector end to HDMI via Blackmagic Design SDI to HDMI 6G Mini Converter. The cable is a little stiff, but I kind of expected this for a good quality SDI cable. Video quality was excellent. 5 |
