Pocket Sony Camera

I have been a fan of the 1 inch cameras. I am a serious amateur, but need a camera for the pocket, so most DSLR or even mirorless are out for me. I have owned the SONY rx 100 series. That is an incredible travel camera, even better then this canon in some ways. But to me, I do not need the larger zoom on the SOny. The canon combination of 1 inch sensor with the F 1.8 lens and image stabilization, can rival APS-C sensors in lower light and certainly in daylight. image quality is amazing, excellent feel and control, fantastic touch screen function. the camera also feels more substantial the Lumix or even the SOny. If you strictly want a travel camera with a bigger zoom, go with the SONY, but if you want an overall day to day camera as a sort of SLR substitute that fits in the pocket. this is the winner. overall, I think Canon really hit a home run with this camera, if used for the right purpose. 5 |

The number of features and the quality that are found in this pocket sized camera are remarkable. The near instant focus is great. The option of EVF or the movable viewscreen on the back of the camera are big pluses for me. The high frame rate (HFR) feature makes it a real weapon for sports photography. The online PDF manual is a significant disappointment. It is poorly organized and the descriptions of features and functions are dismal. Fortunately, most small cameras follow a similar organization scheme and hierarchy and with a few tries I found nearly everything that I need. I am about to leave on an extended overseas trip and my Sony will be in my pocket and my uber-heavy DSLR, multiple lenses and serious tripod will stay home. If the Sony performs as I hope, I will be travelling much lighter in the future. 5 |

I use this to work with my Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 4K camera and Sony F series Battery Holder from Smallrig, it works well! 5 |

Okay - this is my third Lumix pocket camera. I use a Sony RX10 IV and a couple Nikon DSLRs for business. This one is pretty easy to navigate (of course there are more options than I can figure out) to get nice, images. I had to look around to activate the iZoom and/or Digital Zoom options, but they work fine. I'm just starting to edit a couple events. I use this for my heavy ProBono load - ha! With a belt case, it is easy to pick out the camera and shoot. So far, it is terrific. I'll post more info in the future. 5 |

I wanted an unobtrusive camera that I could carry in my pocket for situations where larger gear (Sony A7Riii with lenses) may be less optimal. Very satisfied with the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII. Good quality still photographs, and better than I expected for video. I also bought a separate small microphone that can be easily connected via the little handle that comes with the camera and the tripod. 5 |

I bought it to use with my new sony rx-100, because it can protect the camera and at the same time I can put in my pocket without problems. Excellent product 5 |

I bought this for my Sony RX100 VII. It is a tight fit but works just fine with the camera. It has a pocket for an extra battery and sd card which is nice. It is well made. 5 |

Unbelievable pocket camera. It is like having mini A9 in your pocket. Shooting grip comes handy too. I have been using Sony E-mount cameras for last 10 years, so menu system is no problem for me. What I like the most about this camera is an incredibly fast focusing and lens range. 5 |

I was looking for a small compact camera that I could put in my pocket and take everywhere but I did not want to compromise on image quality. The Sony RX0 Mark II camera fits this requirement perfectly. The unit is incredibly durable and extremely versatile, and the image quality from the 1-inch sensor is very impressive. With the version 2.0 firmware update, Sony added AF-S (auto-focus single) and the ability to control the unit via Bluetooth using the Sony Wireless Remote Commander RMT-P1BT These feature additions and the flexibility of using the bluetooth remote make it the perfect camera to always have ready to go. Highly recommended. 5 |

I recently moved from the Panasonic GH5 and Black magic pocket cinema and the Sony as7iii is by FAR my favorite camera. The autofocus is definitely one of my favorite things about the camera as well as the color profile. Really allows me to get that cinematic look. 5 |
