In all, we bought 9 of these tripods to outfit two of our podcast studios. After we tested out one, it was an easy vote to go exclusively with these. They are SO SOLID. Everything about them - top to bottom. Just solid, thoughtful construction. We have two tripods that we spent over $1000 for and these are just as good, if not better! I rave about them all the time, it's the best upgrade we've made all year!

The 16 foot XLR cables are perfect for my podcast studios. They are coated in a curable rubber that keeps out interference. They have ridges on the connecting ends to insure a good grip when disconnecting them. They are dark and stay hidden which I like but have the smallest yellow highlights at the connection end to help you see them in dark room. They are working great. I bought several of these for my podcast studios. They fit almost every head pretty well and are reasonably comfortable to wear for an hour or less, which is exactly our use case. After 2 years, I've had a couple that needed to be replaced, but for the cost, that is totally ok. If you're going to be working with them on for hours at a time, you may want to look for another option.
