Point And Shoot Camera Long Zoom
Jlamothe | 2024-08-04 08:11:49 |
I really like this camera. I have a $$kind of point and shoot. While that takes very nice photos, I usually use my Sony DSLR to take product photos. But it is cumbersome to take out. Now I intend to use this one instead.I just hope the generic battery holds up like a genuine one, I have not tried that yet. But I am loving the camera and the bag, but I do have a little bit of a hard time getting the little click release to let go. I have ordered a second bag to put in the long zoom lens, as all those things do not fit into the one bag. But I do not anticipate using the long zoom lens a lot, so that is not a problem. 5 |

The SX20 is the most powerful point & shoot that I have ever seen. The telephoto zoom is incredible, and then it has a macro better than any other. From long range to extreme close up - it can't be beat. It is so easy to use and the photos are perfect. I also have an SLR, but the SX20 does eveything that I need to do, that I don't even use the SLR anymore. I would, and have, recommended this camera to everyone that is interested in buying a good reliable product that will last a long time. 5 |

The SX210IS is a great point and shoot camera. It is small in size but big on features. The zoom is amazing for a camera this size. The only flaw in this otherwise great camera is that there is no viewfinder. High megapixel combined with the zoom make this a great camera that I would recommend to anyone. 5 |

Perfect size for my large point and shoot camera with 60x zoom. Fits the charger, a few extra filters etc. Good padding for the camera too. 5 |

This is the PERFECT pancake lens for a PEN-F or similar. It's tiny, light, and optically it's very good indeed. (If you shoot RAW, you'll notice some tiny defects, but these are correctable in post processing, and Lightroom automatically fixes it. If you shoot JPEG, the camera takes care of it for you already.) Whether you actually ENJOY using the lens is going to be a matter of personal preference—for example, it has a power zoom, activated by a zoom ring that doesn't continue spinning; it twitches one way or the other and you just twist and hold till you want to release it at the desired zoom. Some people like this, some don't but I'll just point out it's great for video and it makes the camera's zoom possible to operate remotely for self-portraiture etc. There's pros and cons to it. However, if you want a pancake lens with great optics, a very convenient zoom range for 90% of everyday or walkaround photography, and fast enough for most non-low-light shooting, this lens is hard (impossible?) to beat. I'll add, too, that there's an ingenious little automatically opening lens cap that you should know about—a well-kept secret! It's the Olympus LC-37C Auto Open Lens Cap for M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ Lens and it's really an amazing complement to this lens. The combination of this lens, that cap, and a small MFT body gives you something very close to a high-quality point-and-shoot that you can convert into a serious photography setup as well. Super versatile! 5 |

It's a perfect step-up from a point & shoot camera. Features we particularly like are the 12X zoom and the continuous shoot option. The picture quality is excellent and love the auto feature -- it thinks and focuses for you with great photo results. Buy it, you'll love it! 5 |

I've had a number of point and shoot cameras over the years and although they were pretty good cameras, there was always something missing. I was always looking for something more, maybe better video, a longer zoom or a remote control - something. I read about this camera online , bought one and I couldn't be happier. I am far from a photo expert but I know what I like and I know a nice picture and/or video when I see one. This camera takes amazing still pictures and the videos in AVCHD format are outstanding, even inside under incandescent lighting. Add in the longer zoom that you would normally find on a larger sensor point and shoot camera and in my opinion it is the perfect travel camera. I also love the Panasonic Image App which allows me to use my smartphone as a remote control. My only complaint and it's not really a complaint is that the camera has so many functions that it can be a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you are not real familiar with the Panasonic menu system. Also, the camera body is very slippery so be sure to use a wrist or neck strap - it will slip out of your hands. I have to comment on the service from B&H. I live in the Vancouver, Canada area and I ordered this camera online early in the morning @1:00am. It was delivered to my office by noon the next day, less than thirty six hours from New York to Vancouver. Not only was the service incredible, but the total price with the free accessories made buying from B&H a no-brainer. I give both the camera and B&H five stars out of five. 5 |

I purchased the Canon sx70 as I was looking for a point and shoot with a great zoom and this camera so far has been excellent! It has a 60x optical zoom, and while here in Florida, I wanted a camera to get real close for wildlife and birds. It has an amazing zoom, can get so close from far away, and the photo quality is excellent. Easy to use, lightweight, and worth the price! 5 |

One must understand the purpose of this lens. It is designed to transform a PEN or OM-D camera into a point and shoot. Combined with the additional auto lens cap, the lens powers from the closed compact state to the extended ready state with the auto lens cap opening for quick shooting when the camera is powered on. In other words, you now have a point and shoot with with supurb image quality. The zoom is powered as well just like a point and shoot zoom and is operated by the regular zoom ring. So, is this the sharpest lens in the Olympus stable? No. Is this the most compact 3x zoom in the Olympus stable? Yes! So you now have a pocketable camera with a zoom, quite good performance, and that is ready in an instant. Not the best lens for a wedding or any other time your planing to take photos, but outstanding for carrying around when you weren't expecting to take photos. And it is not any worse than other kit lenses. If your pixel peeping, you will not find this lens outstanding. If your looking for a lens to put in your pocketbook or pocket that is ready in an instant, then this is the brilliant design that was made just for you! 5 |

Bought this for my wifes Super Zoom Point and Shoot camera and she loves it. Very easy to setup, adjust and shoot. 5 |
