Point And Shoot Camera Retro

I have had this camera for about 2 months now & i LOVE it, easy point & shoot since i have no camera experience & gives a cute “filmy” retro look to the pictures it takes, the best photos come out with the flash on. Highly recommended to anyone who just wants a camera to have fun with!

Loving my Instax Mini 40! It's straightforward with a cool retro look. Just point and shoot, and you get instant photos with a charming, vintage feel. It's not for professional shots but perfect for fun, spontaneous memories. Films are a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the unique experience.

Did I need this camera, absolutely not. I currently have a D750 as my main camera, a D5300 as an extra back up, and my old D300 just because I can't bear to part with it. I purchased this camera because it looks just like my Nikon FE2 that I shot for 20 years and dearly loved. This camera is plain fun to shoot and I love the retro look. The fact that it takes great pictures is certainly a plus. I have not delved into the mirrorless world, but I admit it seems to be the wave of the future. I am slowly getting used to the electronic viewfinder and find it just fine. Having used Nikon DSLR cameras since my first D100, it takes no time to figure out this one. I just got the camera a few week ago and have not really shot much with it (just the dog and a few spring flower pics) but plan on using it a lot to shoot my grandkids and maybe as a travel camera. The 16-50mm metal lens just adds to the retro look and is quite a good lens. I am the person whom this camera was designed for and I love it. Fun to use, great picture quality, and good looking.
