I just bought a used Sony A300 kit and just wanted to protect the kit lens and didn't want to spend a lot of money but still concern with the quality and this did the Job.

I purchased the RM-VPR1 remote for my older A300 that I have been using more for Macro photography recently. Previously, I had been using the 2 second timer to minimize excess vibration on the body but needed something better. This trigger was just the right component. First impression of the RM-VPR1 was good as well as boxed well inside the Sony packaging. The actual remote is nice quality and matched well to my camera. Connections were easy with a solid terminal plug and the user guide is basic with the traditional Sony format. Overall, this is exactly what I was after and would recommend the RM-VPR1 for anyone who wants a simple shutter release remote. For my A300, the shutter release is the only function which is the function I was wanting. For others who want all the features of the RM-VPR1 using it with an A300 is probably not the best match. I haven't had the trigger much but while using the shutter release I have noticed more of my photos have been in focus more often and with repeatable results. I feel the results are due to using the RM-VPR1 exclusively which minimizes the extra camera vibrations. The overall service from B&H was outstanding. Having my purchase shipped the next day and delivered a couple days ahead of schedule gave me the opportunity to use it before I needed it for a project.

I have been using the A300 Plus scanner a few days now and can say it does what it was made for. It has been working great at scanning large format books (old bound newspapers). The automated scanning available in the software is great. The default is every 15 seconds which seems to be just about enough time to rotate and turn pages. So far I am very pleased with it and have had no problems with it preforming as expected.

I purchased this for a Sony A300 that I am selling. I haven’t used the body in so long, I must have given away the CF Cards I used with it. I wanted the sale to include everything to get shooting right away so I picked this up and included one of my extra SD cards. I had no issues recording images to the SD card with this adapter nor reading the info with my Lexar Pro dual slot reader. The insertion or removal of an SD card to/from the adapter or the adapter to/from the camera or reader is secure, no play or tolerance issues. A good buy and great way to increase your memory capacity for CF devices with cheaper SD cards.

I bought this filter for my Sony A300 as a protector of my other filters. This also allowed a little more to grab onto, over top of my circular polarizer filter when I wanted to turn it. The quality of this filter(and all the Sony filters I have) is just great. While holding it, it just feels great. I haven't found anything about the filter to complain about. ...

I purchased this adapter after my camera battery died during a particularly lengthy image download. It works with both my old a300 and my new a77II. It even powers the camera with the battery removed, which means that I can use it during long still life shoots. I wish I had bought it earlier. I do have one caution, though. Before you buy this adapter, go to the Sony website to see if YOUR CAMERA is a compatible model. Not all are.
