Polar Heart Rate Monitor With Interval Timer

This watch has some many useful function including calling for help if you fall, heart rate monitor and other health app. I feel like Dick Tracy when I speak into my watch using the intercom or answering a phone call.

Works flawlessly when used to synchronize a second Nikon camera with an interval timer.

I'm pretty sure I didn't set my camera's interval timer correctly, after three hours there was nothing on the card. Still I didn't trust the card on the outside chance it wasn't me.  I still trust Lexar and continue to use them. I called their customer service and, after I mailed back my CF b card with the receipt, they mailed me a check. They also emailed software to recover whatever was on the card. Five stars!

I use this in the interval timer mode for creating time lapse video. Very simple to use and a must have for serious photographers. The price is a little steep but after playing around with it and seeing how creative you can get the memory of the price goes away. Doesn't have an off button. (kinda weird) I take the battery out after I use it.

I purchased this for remote control, have not used the interval timer portion yet, but will this summer for astrophotography. This control works beautifully, I use it now for bulb exposures during light painting, and remote control of sunrise photos etc. when it's too darn cold to stand out there, I just stay nice and warm inside the car.

This timer is very straightforward and easy to use. It has lots of options that allow you to be even more creative with your photography. My favorite use is the interval timer which I use for time lapse photography.

Put this into my RX10iv for an all-night timelapse, which is beyond the capability of the single battery. Worked fine for 12 hours with lots of charge left in the USB power pack. RX10iv can run on USB power directly, but the only USB port has to be used for the interval timer, so the dummy battery is necessary. The RX100vii has a built-in interval timer, but that wasn't included on the RX10iv.

This product is great. I wanted an interval timer for shooting star photos and I wasn't thrilled about the prospect of paying $ for similar units so the price was great. I read for the manual and tested all of the settings within 10 minutes and it's really easy to use. The only annoying thing is the beep that goes with all of the functions. You can turn it off but whenever you reset the times, it defaults back to having the beep on. Other than that it is an awesome tool.

I really like how simple this timer is to use. You can set it quickly and the backlight is handy. It took me one try to realize that the interval has to be set including the shutter time. If you want a 30 second shutter time and 30 second interval, you need to set interval to 60 seconds. I've been using it for astro photography and was worried about the condensation getting into the case and ruining it but so far so good. I will update if it becomes an issue. Good luck and enjoy.
