Polar Team Heart Rate Monitors

This watch has some many useful function including calling for help if you fall, heart rate monitor and other health app. I feel like Dick Tracy when I speak into my watch using the intercom or answering a phone call. 5 |

This is the third Apple watch I've owned. It seems that this watch works a little faster than the others. I use it as much for health issues. The Heart Rate monitor picks up the same as my belt. This is an improvement over the past watches. The Blood O2 is good, particularly now with Covid as lung function is an indication of the virus. All in all it's a worthwhile purchase. 5 |

This watch is absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We aren't sports fanatics but need to keep track of heart rate. We walk, ride bicycle, and treadmill. This watch tracks it all. Best of all, we only have to charge once every 3-4 weeks. Just wish I could get another one in the white rock color. 5 |

First, let me rate the B & H team. Flawless performance. Quick and safe. Now the Nanuck 925 insert. It came flattened out and I had to unstick the velcro tabs. They were like an octopus, clinging to everything. The I noticed the TIP to use paper to slide the tabs into place. Smooth sailing with the paper shields. It is a challenge to size all the compartments to maximize capacity, but I accept re-shuffling of tabs for newer item storages. Really good cushioning, appearing very durable and adequate. 5 |

Bought 2, so far the monitors are great. Clear, 240hz refresh rate is awesome. 5 |

I finally convinced accounting to let the creative team work with Macs. This is the third one we've added, and everyone is thrilled with them. Yes, there's the iMac Pro and the new Mac Pro, but for what these Minis cost, coupled with the fact that we already owned 3 monitors for every computer, the Mini can't be beat for everyday Photoshop / Illustrator, coding, and moderate Premiere Pro / After Effects projects. To save a few extra $$$ up front, I bought all of them with base memory and upgraded to 64GB (the only thing you can upgrade). Also went with 256GB SSD's and later added 1TB external thunderbolt NVME drives and moved the User Accounts onto them. The built-in UHD-630 GPU is fine for general purpose use on 3 monitors. I added an eGPU to one of these to run 4 monitors. 5 |

this was a quick an easy way to get my monitors calibrated for editing. As a plus, Datacolor has a great support team and they have lots of learning videos for those who want to increase their knowledge. 5 |

I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it. 5 |
