Polaroid Captiva Prints

We do a lot of beach photography of families down on Sanibel and Captiva islands. This light is strong enough to deal with the bright sun as well as working exceptionally well with images shot closer to dusk. Having fun with many different modifiers too! Had to retire my other strobes once I used this one! 5 |

I love the look of instant prints but don't like the results from the Instax/Polaroid cameras. This nifty little printer is the perfect solution. It is easy to operate, portable and decent quality. I bought two more for my kids for Christmas. They wanted to steal mine! The only downside is the cost of film. 5 |

I take a lot of photos of people and always try to give my subjects prints, and with the impossibility of polaroid and typical expense of printing, this set is a very good solution. Prints are made swiftly and with near perfect quality. The colors are sometimes a bit off from what is seen on the screen, but there's always some finagling to be done in printing photos. 5 |

These holders were meant for Polaroid prints or negatives which tended to be a bit larger than standard 4x5 negatives. They have plenty of room for 4x5 negatives and easily store you 4x5 contact proofs if you happen to cut the sheet a little off (the varied size is not a problem. 5 |

I use this as an event photographer (fancy way of saying I'm like the old Polaroid Man at the club). Prints are sharp with great color and print out in approximately 40 seconds (4 X 6 inch prints) when I send them to the printer from my laptop. 5 |

I use these card size prints as a modern-day Polaroid for my clients. They are the perfect size for clients to pastedown on layouts and on my tech sheets. Color are vibrant and make good small snap shot prints as well. 5 |

So what makes buying this camera worth it over finding an old polaroid camera at the thrift shop? Well the coolest feature in my opinion is the rechargeable battery in the camera. Usually with instant film you are only left with the battery that's in the film pack but with this camera you can use either the i-type film (no battery pack, relies on camera's rechargeable battery) or you can use the polaroid 600 film (the same film but with battery pack in with the film cartridge). Why is this a cool feature? Well you can now stock up on Polaroid film for yourself or a a gift and not have to worry about the battery in the film pack dying rendering the film useless. You have the ability to recharge the camera and keep shooting! And if the battery inside the Polaroid Originals One Step 2 ever does die or lose performance you can just switch to using the Polaroid 600 film with the battery pack in the film cartridge. This camera is totally worth buying! And I forgot to mention the Polaroid Originals film is pretty good and is only getting better! 5 |
