Polaroid Dslr Bridge Camera With Printer

I really wanted a “bridge” camera which had a decent zoom and was much lighter than a DSLR. My second criteria was the ability to shoot video in 4K, because I enjoy editing my travel pics and movies. This LUMIX fits the bill on both points! 5 |

My previous Zink printer was the Polaroid ZIP printer. It was a fine printer that was involved in many fun memories and moments. However, the connection to a smartphone could be finicky at times and it kind of killed the spontaneity of wanting to get printouts fast while in the moment. Plus, the app made it quite difficult to predict the color output of the photos. This Canon camera printer solved all that. It too can be paired with a smartphone to act as a printer. However, the app is much better than the Polaroid one. The other benefit is this can act as a standalone camera/printer. It has a framing box (both in the front of the camera for selfies and in the viewfinder) so its easier to frame what you want to take a picture of. It does have LEDs to light up subjects. I do find the shutter button to be a little too easy to take photos. A couple times, I accidentally took a photo even when I was just grabbing the camera or giving it to someone. Battery life is much better than my Polaroid was. However, I did notice at a party when I wanted to print a bunch of printers, the Canon did require a cooling period sooner than the Polaroid when I was printing a lot of pics (though this may be because the Canon app makes it more convenient to print photos faster while I had to prep photos in the Polaroid app). White balance can be an issue with using the Canon as a standalone camera with pictures leaning toward being very cool (though to be fair, some of my testing was in an office with bad fluorescent lighting). So if you want more precise colors, use it as a printer with a smartphone. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up with my family having a Polaroid camera. This printer makes me feel so nostalgic. I love that I can instantly print pictures from my phone. My 4 and 5 year old also love it. This printer is really easy to set up. All you have to do is download the app. The app is really user friendly and helps to set everything up. I also love that the printer is rechargeable and doesn’t require batteries. When the picture initially prints out, it takes up to 1 minute for the photo to start developing. Once it starts developing it takes about 10 minutes for it to fully develop. I love this printer. It’s the modern version of a Polaroid camera. 5 |

Just got into the DSLR game after years of using Fuji bridge cameras. Decided I wanted to try some photography ideas that were beyond what a bridge can do, never had a remote shutter release before. I'm not a pro, but I can't imagine there being anything better for the price. Works like it should. 5 |

If you have multiple cameras for travel, P & S, Bridge, DSLR for you and your wife with different batteries, it's great for travel. Take one of two bases with a plate for each separate camera. Saves space. 5 |

These cards are great, just enough capacity and very quick, I always like the smaller capacity cards and these work great in my dslr as well as my bridge cameras. The price was excellent and it allows me to keep my work on individual cards as i travel throughout the country. It allows me to have a library set up with stock photos without going thru a large capacity card when printing or searching for a particular photo. B&H makes my job easier with a great product and a reasonable price. 5 |

So what makes buying this camera worth it over finding an old polaroid camera at the thrift shop? Well the coolest feature in my opinion is the rechargeable battery in the camera. Usually with instant film you are only left with the battery that's in the film pack but with this camera you can use either the i-type film (no battery pack, relies on camera's rechargeable battery) or you can use the polaroid 600 film (the same film but with battery pack in with the film cartridge). Why is this a cool feature? Well you can now stock up on Polaroid film for yourself or a a gift and not have to worry about the battery in the film pack dying rendering the film useless. You have the ability to recharge the camera and keep shooting! And if the battery inside the Polaroid Originals One Step 2 ever does die or lose performance you can just switch to using the Polaroid 600 film with the battery pack in the film cartridge. This camera is totally worth buying! And I forgot to mention the Polaroid Originals film is pretty good and is only getting better! 5 |
